Fluffy flogger - whip discontinued by Ruff doggie styles - review by Buttercup Green

This is a flogger that is used for bondage or BDSM play. It can be used in the bedroom, living room, or even brought to a friend's house if they are having a sexy party. If you are dressing up as a sexy submissive bunny, this fluffy number could make a wonderful accessory. Of course, it wouldn't be one of those accessories that you only use once a year on Halloween. This cute thing will quickly turn into a staple of your sex toy collection. In my opinion, anyone who is interested in floggers or impact play should have one of these. When I say this, I am mainly talking to beginners. Those who are just starting out with kinky bedroom play should start out with this flogger. It is soft, and it definitely doesn't look intimidating. I mean come on! Who could be scared of this? It is way too cute. The furry falls lessen the blow, unless you are my husband the sadist (more on this later). Suede, which isn't too rough of a material, is mixed in with the fur. The mixed sensations will send you right into submissive heaven. This flogger can be used to hit anywhere you please, but use caution when flogging the genitals as the fur tends to soak up fluids. This, of course, makes the flogger hard to clean. I prefer this toy to be used on my stomach, legs, back, and butt. Yea it feels good enough on the genitals, but all I can think about during this is how hard it is going to be to clean the flogger after we are done. It kind of ruins the mood. Damn my overactive mind! Another thing to consider is the length of this flogger. It is very, very long. If you are short on space in your bedroom or where you play, this flogger may not be the best for you. It needs a lot of space to get the falls swinging in the air. People living with others wouldn't really have a problem with the noise factor as the mixed fur and suede do not make too loud of a sound unless you are really going at it. Just be sure to keep the moans of arousal down, and you should be fine.

Handle:
The handle is long and rigid. I am pretty sure that the inside is wooden as that is pretty common in floggers. The handle is very sturdy and easy to grasp and swing. The outside of the handle has a black and white checker board pattern. The top and bottom of the handle is completely black, but you can see that it has an interwoven pattern to it. All of this is done in a leather material. The leather has that wonderful scent upon arrival, but it can only be detected if the handle is brought very close to the nose. The leather is smooth and silky in that way that leather can be. This checkered pattern is raised and can be felt with the fingertips. This helps sweaty palms or slippery fingers keep a constant and firm grip on the handle for maximum precision. The handle is definitely long enough for just about anyone to comfortably hold and wield this flogger. Attached to this gorgeous handle is a hanging or wrist strap. This strap is done in the same black and white pattern to match the handle. The strap is very well attached to the handle, so I don't see a problem with this ever coming loose or undone. Everything about this handle screams excellent quality. The handle isn't weighted, so the end with the falls will always seem heavier.




Furry/Suede Falls:
The long falls are made out of two different materials and colors. The outside falls that are black are made out of suede. Suede is a very soft material. It almost feels velvety. Suede is very easily stained and is porous. If it comes into contact with water and it isn't dried, the suede will darken in color and become rough. Water tends to strip suede of the natural oils that keeps it buttery smooth. If you need to clean it, wipe the area with a damp cloth and dry or clean with a suede cleaner. I have not had a problem with the suede falls shedding. Every once in a while I will notice a black fuzzy, but it isn't anything bad. The inside falls that are white in color are made out of faux-fur. This material is very easy to care for, but the white color will definitely show stains more than the pink one will. Just like the suede falls, I haven't had an issue with the fur coming loose or shedding. I love the furry falls. It feels like the inside of a new set of fur lined cuffs or a new jacket that is lined on the inside with fur. Sometimes I go into my closet where the flogger is hanging and put my face in the fluffy falls. It makes me smile. The falls do not have any weird smells to them when it arrives. The falls would be light, but their length makes them a little heavy. There are 24 suede falls and 11 furry falls on mine. The falls are extremely well attached to the handle, and it should last a long time if you take care of it. Although the falls are made out of somewhat delicate materials, it is a true luxury to own and to be flogged with the Fluffy flogger.

After giving me a good whipping with the Fashionistas whip, my husband fucked me for a good 10-15 minutes. Once he saw that my smile had faded, he knew he had won and struck gold. I was given no more soft hits. He continued to flick the flogger all over my body including my breast which hurt pretty badly. After the entire session, he deemed this flogger to be his favorite. I wonder why? More importantly, why did I think I was safe when I bought this?
Despite my husband finding a devious way to make this flogger painful, I absolutely love it. I love it even more because my husband loves it. I will never forget that first painful flick. I looked back at him in shock, and his whole face was lit up with arousal and ownership. I could have had an orgasm right there. When flicked or flogged with force, my skin was left red but no marks were left. I think it would be extremely hard to leave bruises or marks with this flogger. When brought down with an extreme amount of force or when flicking it in the way my husband likes to do, the suede falls carry a significant bite. It can feel stingy especially when using the flicking motion. Any other times, the flogger feels more thuddy than anything.

Fluffy Flogger vs. Fashionistas Whip:

I would only clean the falls unless I absolutely had to simply because the materials are harder to clean than leather. After a session, make a thorough inspection of the falls. If you see that they came into contact with lube or other fluids, take a damp washcloth and wipe it down. Once any fluids are removed, take a dry cloth and rub the area to get any excess moisture off. The handle would be a whole other story. I take an Eden wipe after every session (because my husband tends to get sweaty palms during an intense session) and wipe it down. Then I dry it off and hang it on our "wall of pain" in our closet by the strap attached to the handle. Since the materials are giving and flexible, I don't see a problem with folding this up and traveling with it as long as you have a suitcase that can accomadate the large size. The falls do not crease or wrinkle like stiff leather can.

The Fluffy Flogger came to me with bare minimum packaging. I don't really mind because I know how difficult it would be to package such a large flogger. Most floggers arrive in this style anyway. The flogger was neatly and tightly sealed in some plastic. This is great because it prevents the falls from moving during shipping. This came in a huge box (it was a huge order), but it still arrived in perfect condition. It wasn't crushed or anything! The flogger has a tag attached to it that has a lady on it holding the flogger. It isn't crude, and I thought it was tasteful. The tag was easily removed. The plastic cannot be preserved to store the toy in later. Why would you want to do that anyways? Hang this baby on the wall where you can see it everyday!
