This toy is great for everyone. You can use it if your just starting out, since it has the faux fur, the sting isn't as prevalent. Of course, if you put a little strength behind it, you can also leave her/him biting the pillow to fight back pleasurable stings.

Use on the back, thighs, butt, and chest were all experimented with, finding the best uses to be the butt and back. She didn't really enjoy the chest, but I am sure someone out there would.

For a beginner, it would be an amazing buy. For an advanced user, still an amazing buy and it would be great for a warm up session.

I was slightly startled when I got home from work and my girlfriend pulled the toy out. K, my girlfriend, informed me she ordered "something fun" but when I actually saw what she meant, I was in awe of the length of the device. Being our first flogger, that's probably why. It's 30" long, and the handle is about 9" of it.
The handle is made of leather in a checkerboard pattern of black and pink, which makes it very easy to grip. The wrist strap is also made of alternating colors of pink and black and if your worried about losing it with a slippery hand, you could always attach the wrist strap to keep your flogger close. The falls are around 21" long, containing around 25 suede strands and 10 ultra soft, faux fur strands.

It is massive. But very light. It seems very durable and will probably last a long time. It is leather as well, which is where the bite comes in. I wouldn't recommend getting it wet, as the suede will get spots. NEVER PUT IT IN THE DRYER! The suede will get hard and shrink. It was pretty as well, she thought so at least. As a man, I am more concerned with function as opposed to fashion.

The toy did everything I thought it would and more. We used it right after I got home from work and I was amazed at how empowering it was to use it on her. I probably liked it just as much as she did.
After a few small swings to get use to the minuscule weight of it (I didn't wan't to swing so hard it destroyed her, so I practiced a bit first) we began playing and were both quickly turned on. The first few slaps were awkward at first, until I looked in the mirror she faced and saw her facial reaction, then it was on.
Needless to say, we had lots of fun and plan on having more later with this device. Also, it made for a great tickler as well. Running it slowly over her back gave her chills.

Only thing I can think of to mention is that it should avoid water, as it is leather. It has a convenient wrist strap that can also be used to hang behind a door, making sure none of the falls get permanently bent or wrinkled. You could put it in a dresser as well, which is what I chose to do just for the secrecy of it and haven't noticed any bending or wrinkling. Then again, I have only had it for a week or so. If the toy were to get dusty, heaven forbid, then I would just use a cloth to dust it, again avoiding water.

No instructions were included in the packaging, but it is pretty self-explanatory.
The flogger was wrapped in plastic, but other than that, pretty bare. The plastic wasn't thick enough for storage, and if I were planning on giving it as a gift, I would certainly repackage.

Was(and still is) a great introduction into flogging and whipping. We both thoroughly enjoyed this toy. A lot more than I thought I would. We have already recommended it to 2 other couples.

Use care with everything you try involving pain. Everyone has different pain thresholds and while you think it might not sting because of the fluff, your partner may think differently when they feel the leather.
