Silk whisper review

First off, the Silk Whisper is beautiful. The exotic silk fabric on the front of the blindfold gives it a look of sophistication and excitement - but don't worry, it's completely functional as well.

The back of the blindfold (the part that directly comes in contact with the wearer's eyes), is covered in a super-soft black fleece, and it secures tightly around the head with an elastic band. This band is comfortable, but very secure around an average-size female head. As it appears to only come in one size, men or ladies with big hair-dos might want to consider getting a blindfold that actually ties in the back. I did also try to use it as a sleeping mask, but it's a bit too snug for that too.

Taking one of your senses away can heighten the sensations of those that are still active, and not being able to see where your partner's hands are going next creates a wonderful sense of anticipation and suprise. Think 'hide and seek,' but for grown-ups!

My female lover adored using this blindfold. Not only did it not barely budge during sex, but it remained comfortable, and really kept her in the dark (no light sneaking in through folds, etc.). She remarked how it actually made her feel safer, more relaxed and less inhibited. I agree with her sentiments, and can add that it really inspired me to experiment with new sensations on her body.

I used this blindfold with some more tactile sex toys, which I 100% recommend to round out your experience. I teased her with a feath tickler (like the Starburst Fantasy Feather by Sportsheets), and then touched her back, thighs and buns with the miraculous Hitachi Magic Wand (before moving it to more enticing places... whoo hoo). I can't tell you how much fun it is to blindfold your lover, open up the toy drawer and suprise them!
