Silk Whisper - Sensual Sensory Deprivation!

The Silk Whisper is a gorgeous, asian-inspired blindfold of very nice quality. Adding a blindfold to your collection of toys is a great idea as a stand-alone, and can also enhance pretty much everything you already own! Like floggers or whips? Ticklers or warm wax? The Silk Whisper will add a happy dose of anticipation and surprise! While the Silk Whisper was not my first blindfold, I wish it had been. It's a great choice for anyone who appreciates the visual appeal of this piece, is looking to get their feet wet with bdsm/sensory play, or anyone who just wants a gorgeous sleep-mask!

The Silk Whisper is really, really pretty. The aesthetic appeal alone is worth the price, but it's also quite well made. There were no loose threads or fraying, and the edges were all sewn neatly and solidly. The fabric feels lovely, but it doesn't have a fragile feel to it. The elastic band is a little plain, but serviceable and functional. I would have preferred ties, but the elastic gets the job done.

The Silk Whisper is very functional and easy to use blindfold. The elastic strap should fit most people. I found it to be pretty comfortable, and the elastic didn't catch or pull on my hair as I had feared. If you have an exceptionally large noggin, you may want to invest in a blindfold with ties instead of choosing one with a static size. The fit of the mask itself isn't 100% perfect - a little bit of light creeps in at the bridge of my nose, but I generally don't try to have my eyes open when the mask is on anyway, so it's not an issue. The inside portion of the Silk Whisper is made of a soft, fleecy-feeling material that is extremely comfy and feels great.

The packaging for the Silk Whisper is very minimal, and not discreet at all. The product comes in a clear plastic bag with a small tag describing the product and the company. I don't think it would be a terrible way to store the Silk Whisper if you felt the need to protect it from pet hair or spills, but any ziplock or cloth bag would do just as well.
