My Little Mistress

Mistress by Vixen Creations is a semi-realistic, harness-compatible dildo with a slight curve to stimulate the G-spot or P-spot. It is 100% silicone and extremely easy to care for. The base features a suction cup that makes it good for solo play. It is good for beginners with its 7" length and 1.25" girth, which also makes it a good anal dildo. Use

Mistress is a medium-sized dildo that is great for vaginal or anal use because it features a flared base. It is good for a woman who likes a slimmer toy or someone who is looking for a first anal dildo, but has had some experience. It is also an excellent thrusting dildo because it has very little internal drag.

Material / Texture

Mistress is 100% silicone, so it is about as safe as it gets. It is non-porous, phthalates free, and hypoallergenic. Though Mistress looks semi-realistic, it does not have a real-skin feel. Rather, it is pretty firm. There is something about the texture of the silicone I have an issue with. It feels somewhat rubbery instead of being velvety, which is my preference. The texture is very smooth and has a shiny finish, making it very slippery when lubed and great for thrusting.

Design / Shape / Size

Mistress is a little under 7" long and about 6 1/4" insertable. The 1.25" diameter thickness makes this toy good for users of all levels of experience. It also makes it practical for both vaginal and anal use; just make sure you boil it when switching orifices. The slight medium curve to the toy, coupled with its relatively firm head, makes this toy good for G-spot or P-spot stimulation. It doesn't provide extreme pressure but enough to provide decent sensation. Mistress has a pretty realistic shape and a pronounced head, which was my only issue with the toy, but that is just my personal preference. I have the silver color, which is quite cool. It is translucent, and the glitter is internally sealed.

Performance

This toy has a few features that I, and many others, find enjoyable. First, it is harness compatible, which makes it great for pegging. Another aspect of Mistress I really like is that it has a suction cup base, which holds fairly strong even in the shower.

Care and Maintenance

Because it is 100% silicone, cleaning and caring for Mistress is extremely easy. You can wash it with soap and warm water or boil it for 3 minutes. Of course, the downside is the same with any other silicone toy in that it is not compatible with silicone lube. Water-based lubes are best when using this toy. Storage is simple if you use the tube it comes in.

Packaging

One of my favorite features of Vixen toys is the packaging. All toys come in a clear, resealable plastic tube that is great for storage. It protects the toy's shape and has general information about caring for silicone toys (cleaning and lube). It does take up a bit of space, so that may be an issue for some.

Follow-up commentary I still like it 3 months after original review

I still like the Mistress, but it doesn't get used too often. This was my first dildo I ever bought, and since then, I have gotten hooked on dual-density toys. In addition to this, I have gotten more experience with anal play and now prefer larger toys. Mistress is still a good warm-up toy, and I like it just as much as when I wrote the review, but I have just moved on to bigger and better things.

	ToyBoy (verified) Well on the underside it is completely smooth, but on the top it has about 1/3" difference between the head and shaft. Usually I like bigger heads on toys, but something just made it feel uncomfortable. It may have been the curve or the type of silicone. There is an aspect to this silicone I didn't like but I couldn't figure out how to explain it. I guess I would say it is almost rubbery or feels like plastic, instead of being soft like tantus or lelo toys.	05/24/2011

  I like average-large sized heads. Like 1 1/2 inches in diameter to 2 inches. About a 5-6inch circumference. I like feeling that initial stretch during insertion.

  I like a larger, yet realistic head. Unfortunately, larger heads usually come with a pronounced rib on the cock head. Yeouch! What an unpleasant catch. :(
