Pure Curved Deliciousness

I love the Tantus Curve. I can really only sing the praises about it. The material is amazing, the quality is fantastic, the design is great. It would make a fantastic addition to any toy box.

Use

The Curve is a high quality silicone dildo by Tantus. It does have a large, semi-flat base, so it can be used safely for anal play. I'll be using it for vaginal penetration. It is waterproof - I love it in a warm bath. The material has plenty of give too, so for those of you who are enthusiastic thrusters, thrust away without fear for your cervix (and your G spot will thank you)!

A quick color note, I wasn't sure whether to go with purple or black (visual appeal is a semi-important quality for me) and ended up purchasing Black. It really looks fabulous. It isn't shiny or shimmery, but rather a matte charcoal black color. It is quite lovely, and very "down to business" looking.

Material / Texture

The material is the first quality of the Curve that struck me as fantastic. I think my exact thoughts were "so this is what real silicone feels like," and oh boy is it great. All the pliability and give of cyberskin, with the firmness and hygiene of... well, silicone. 100% Ultra-Premium Platinum Silicone.

No detectable smell, or taste, and (thank the gods) no greasy material sweat. I can only describe it as firm while maintaining a pliant, luxurious quality.

As far as texture is concerned, the smooth ridges along the underside of the shaft feel nice, but aren't overstimulating or too pronounced. I was much more aware of how the toy curved to massage my G with every thrust. (a great first G experience for sure)

Design / Shape / Size

I am no size queen, if anything I tend to gravitate to smaller toys, girth-wise. The Curve is perfect, for me. It's large enough to inspire a full feeling, without making me feel too stretched or limit my playtime. It's certainly manageable.

I had wondered what the base of the Curve would do for my clit, and found that it didn't really stimulate, but it did sort of get in the way of anything vibrating that I wanted to put there. Not a major flaw, and certainly not a deal breaker, because it can be worked around. Or a powerful vibe could be placed directly on the base, for a total area buzz.

Performance

I don't use harnesses but, looking at the Curve, I can't help but imagine how gorgeous it would look in a harness hovering between my thighs. It is a stirring image, to say the least.

My favorite quality is still the material, looking at it, holding it, and using it; it is just fantastic quality. I really can't complain about any of this toys qualities. It's my new favorite.

Care and Maintenance

Because this toy is premium silicone, you really don't want to mess it up with silicone lube. Stick with water based so you don't risk melting it. Careful with your storage too, either get it a bag to separate it from other silicone toys, or keep it in its clam shell plastic, so you don't end up with a silicone boulder.

Toy cleaner/wipes or mild soap and warm water will do you fine as well. It can also be sterilized for sharing with a 10% bleach bath or a quick dip in boiling water, or just slip a condom over it during use.

Packaging

While not blown away, I am impressed by the Tantus Curve's packaging. Clear plastic displays every angle of the lovely silicone dildo. Information is clearly listed in red or white lettering, and inside the plastic box, is a plastic clam shell type case, which cradles the Curve.

It's not "keep it forever" kind of packaging, but it does the job, easily displays info, and doesn't look trashy, so it definitely gets kudos there.
Follow-up commentary
The Tantus Curve is still one of my favorite dildos, and I've since tried out a lot of the other Tantus dildos as well because I liked this one so much. While a lot of them are nice, and the quality is always fantastic, none of them top the Curve. The matte finish and the squeezeability of it are so great! Definitely a favorite.

Well they do add to the toy, but (for me) they just weren't the number one selling feature of the Curve, and the shape made my G happier than the ridges did. lol

Nice review.. but I have the curve and I have cyberskin toys and in no way is the curve as soft as cyberskin.. Not even close. The Curve does seem to be softer than Tantus' usual offerings but it's still pretty firm.
