A beautiful addition to any toy collection

My hubby and I wanted to try something new so we ordered the Rainbow Mega Nubby by Don Wands. I wasn’t sure how I would enjoy this toy, as I usually like the sensations provided by vibrating or “moving” toys. I did like the look of the toy on the website so I was willing to give it a try. When it arrived, I was very pleased with its first appearance. I loved the bright colors and the nubs that when they hit the sunshine coming in the window, sent little rainbows across the room. The soft, velvety baby blue case was also impressive. What a nice place for the Rainbow to stay safe in when not in use.
After getting past the beautiful colors, I examined the texture and size of the Rainbow. It is slightly over 7 inches long and about 3 ½ in diameter. To look at it, one would think that it would be heavy but it is airy light. The Rainbow was cool to touch but quickly warmed while I held it in my hand.
The time came to try it out. Hubby just happened to be home when it arrived and was there for the christening of the newest addition to our collection. When he first touched my hot skin with the toy, it was really cold. However, it quickly warmed up and felt wonderful. When he inserted it in me, I felt every nub and the sensations were so different from the vibrating toys. While I did not reach orgasm it was a great experience.
The next time we used the Rainbow, hubby ran warm water over it, heating it to a pleasurable temperature from the beginning. Again, the nubs felt wonderful. The third time we used it, hubby ran cool water over the Rainbow prior to us getting busy. This produced a different sensation and although the toy warmed up when it was against body heat, the cool sensation was pleasurable.
Cleanup was a breeze. There is nothing that water will hurt, nothing to harbor germs, and all you have to do is wash and dry it and it’s ready to go again. Being glass, there is a need for lubricant. The packet that comes with the product proved to be the perfect lube.

This glass dildo is the greatest addition to any collection. We have truly enjoyed using and playing with it. It works wonder warm or cooled. I love the colors-especially with a lamp on low. Cleanup is a breeze and it's ready to use again and again! I don't think this one will wear out anytime soon.

Glass dildos are great! They all get really slick with lube, can be warmed (or cooled) in water, and are totally easy to clean. Texture wise there are all sorts of options, like the nubby you pointed out, or ridged, or smooth varieties. What works best depends probably more on your personal preferences than any one design factor.
I would say that if you like softer and more bendable materials generally you may find glass to be somewhat of a letdown, but if you like firm pressure glass is definitely where it's at.
We have a couple of glass toys (a plug and a few dildos) and really like all of them, not too mention they tend to be a little more fun to look at. Personally we like a mix of glass and silicone toys, because they each have things they are better at, but if you are curious about trying a glass toy out for the first time, definitely go for it. You will probably like it.

Do glass toys "hurt" or feel too hard as opposed to rubber/jelly toys? I really like this and want to order one!

I haven't tried that specific glass toy, but I have tried glass toys with "nubs" on them. Honestly, they didn't hurt me in the least -- but, the jelly ones do. I don't understand it.
I LOVE glass though. -
Maybe if you move around and find it's too big, but in themselves, they wouldn't generally hurt (in my exp) :)

So I don't know much on the topic, but putting anything made of glass inside my body sounds a little scary. Do glass toys ever break?

Not usually, most glass toys are made of a solid piece of Borosilicate glass like pyrex. They shouldn't break unless you drop them and even then they may not break the first time they fall.
You should check them for chips before using them, just in case. -
Glass is one of the safest materials you can get, next to stainless steel and silicone. You can boil it and even throw some into the dishwasher! They'll break if you drop them real hard or throw them (especially the cheaper ones), or if you put it in the oven and then in a bowl of cold water, but not inside you!

One is Don Wands and the other is SSA glass...that's about it.
