Curve dong - dildo discontinued by Tantus - review by ScarletFox

The Curve by Tantus is a wonderful dildo made of quality silicone. The one I received for review is a deep purple color with a bit of a pearlescent shimmer to it that shines under the light, even more so when it has a touch of lube on it. The texture to the touch with out lubrication is velvety and when holding it either in your hand by the base or shaft the silicone is quite firm to squeeze. Though it does have a good amount of bend to it, so it's not stiff.

The shape is of course curved, not by much but just enough that when inserted it hits the G-spot. 6 1/2" inches in length with 5 3/4" of it insertable, the circumference around is 4 1/2" so for me it fit quite perfectly. However if you prefer something that is smaller or larger, you may want to pick something else. The ridges are subtle but do provide a nice feeling during use, though of course if you prefer more texture then again you may wish another pick. The base is quite large, which lets it easily stand up on its own. For my hand it was almost too large to hold on for use, though I did find that using it sitting up and riding it worked best for me when my hand was not up to par. I was able to use the slight ridge on the base to grind my clit against. Because of the base it can also be used anally if you wish.

The curve was made to be used of course in a harness, and so it is O-ring compatible though I have read that it may not work with all harnesses. I could not test this function because I currently do not have a harness in my position, though I do plan to get one and will update my findings on that when I do my follow-up review.

Because it is made of high-quality silicone you do not want to use silicone base lubes with this toy, instead use water based lubrication. the best ways to clean the toy are boiling, cleaning with a 10% bleach solution and then soap and water. You can also put it on the top rack of your dishwasher to clean.

The packaging that it is sent in is clear plastic box with a clam shell insert holding the toy inside. The box itself has information about care for your toy, information about materials and Tantus. You could use it to store your Curve in, but the box could take up a lot of room so it may be better to recycle it (which according to the box you are able to do).

While I have found G-spot vibrators that work for me, finding a G-spot toy that didn't vibrate has been a trial. Either the curve of the toy was too much or not enough. Or the head that was just not firm enough for me or it was too firm. Needless to say I have been feeling like a G-Spot Goldilocks. That was until I got my hands on the Curve.

The first time I used the Curve I had warmed up with a bullet first, because I find that I need to have at least orgasmed once before I can use most dildos. With in a few thrusts of using the Curve, I was nearly orgasming once more because of just how perfectly it was hitting my G-spot. Though because of the base my hand got a little tired using it, so I am glad I was able to find that I could get the same results just sitting it up and riding it.

I am happy to say that the Tantus Curve seems to be just right for me!

This is still one of my favorite toys when it comes to dildos right now that I have in my collection. I have found that it is best that I use it though after I have at least gotten off once, or I have found that it can be a little too much for me otherwise.

I have also recently gotten a harness and I was very happy that it fit, my partner is a little intimidated by the size of it but I think they are happy to work up to it. But I am glad that the base allows for it to fit very nicely!
