Blush bulge UR3 cock - realistic dildo by Doc Johnson - review by *Huxley*

The UR3 Bulge by Doc Johnson is a super flexible, waterproof dildo that can really only be used vaginally, even though it has a flared base. Using anally could be tricky, not only because it is so porous, but because of the flexibly.
Of course this does not mean it is a total loss. It offers a few really great features.
-It's waterproof
-The design is very realistic
-It's has girth
-Great variety of texture
-It has balls to grab onto for added pleasure

If you are looking for a very full feeling, the bulge will most certainly do the trick.

The Blush is made from UR3 aka Ultra realistic 3.0. It does in fact feel fairly realistic. Obviosuly it is not the real deal, it's pretty fricken close.

The Bulge is very soft, bendy, and squishy. It is super flexible and resilient. It's got a great velvet texture and is pliable. So much so that you can squeeze it with two fingers and touch them together in the middle.

It is very soft to the touch and upon opening you will also find that there is a strong fruity smell. This smell will wash away after a few through cleanings.

I think it goes without saying that this is not a discreet toy- at all. If someone see's it out, there is no way you can talk your way out of it. It is what it is, and that is a very large dildo.

With that said, I find it to be an attractive spot on, realistic dildo. I really love the frosty blush color and berry tip. Not's not nearly as purple as shown. It is however a faint translucent lilac. It's less ridiculous then the 'realistic' looking dildos out there, which never actually look realistic.

The texture is amazing, there are veins and texture throughout the entire toy. From the urethra opening at the tip, to the veins and skin like texture on the shaft. Even the 'balls' have that wrinkly texture. Making the over all design (Outside of the color) spot on.




The budge is well endowed, measuring in at:
8 1/4" Tall

6-6.5 inches in circumference which means it is 2 inches or better thick, in the shaft.

The bottom has nothing going on, and is slightly pitted in the middle.

It tends to eat lube like crazy, so you need to be generous with the water based lube. I found it took patience and trail and error to get it inserted properly. Since it is so flexible it would bend when inserting. It's rather big so it can't slip right in. Basically I found a lot of water based lube on both the toy and my self made for a safe bet that it would slip in. But only if I held the head steady and assisted in 'creeping' it in, moving my fingers down the toy inch my inch while I inserted it. Without this, it would bend at the head and contort itself.

The balls are large enough to grab a hold of and use for trusting, which was the entire reason I bought this toy. And it followed through with great results. Because of the cushion on the balls you can really grab a hold of them and use them for movement.

Adding a vibrating cock ring works very well if you need the extra sensations. So does putting a stronger vibe at the base. Adding the vibe to the bottom will turn the Bulge into a weak vibrating dildo, which didn't do to much for me. But if you like weak vibes this would be great.

Because of this flexibility and porousness of the Bulge, I would not recommend it for anal play.

Since the material is extremely porous, it can be difficult to clean thoroughly.
If you are planning on using this with a partner, I would advise you to use a condom on the toy. Since UR3 holds onto bacteria, use condoms when switching orifices to fend off bacteria and UTI's.

UR3 cleaning is finicky. Since UR3 is so porous it cannot be fully sterilized. There are a lot of nooks for bacteria to hide on the Bulge, so washing is very important. To safely clean the bulge, use warm soapy water or toy cleaner. Wipe down, rinse, repeat, and let air dry.
After you clean it, dust it with a bit of cornstarch, do NOT use TALC powder, which has been linked to cervical cancer.

After it is dry and dusted keep it away from other toys as it will absorb dyes from other toys. Always keep your toys completely clean and dry when storing.

Also keep in mind that UR3 is NOT compatible with any lube other then water based.

Keep in mind that the bulge is a lint magnet and should be cleaned prior as well as after play.

It comes in your basic clear, non discreet, clam shell packaging.


It does not come with a bag to store it in or any documentation. However, the packaging can be reused if needed to be. But, I would not count on it for long term storage, as it is flimsy.

I am not going to lie and say that the Bulge is the bee's knees, simply because in my opinion it's not.
Since I would use a toy like this more solo then with a partner, it usually means I want to satisfy my needs quickly and surely. With the bulge I cannot do this without a lot of warm up and frustration. If it had a hard solid core I do believe things would be different. But since they are not, this is simply a dildo for vaginal use. It can be used to make you feel full and to achieve the sensations that girth can give you. The Bulge also works well as a trusting dildo, but nothing to write home about. Especially since the material doesn't allow strong vibrations to transfer well. You also could not use the Bulge in use with a harness, since it is so soft and flexible.
The Bulge does indeed have it's pro's. But in my case there are far to many con's to justify it's use.
