Before you read any farther, you should know that this toy is very soft in comparison to most dildos. As a result, this is not the toy for you if you need something exceptionally firm or like to ride your toys. While I personally love the softness and plush feel of this toy, it is certainly not for everyone. If you’re looking for a dildo with a realistic feel and look that will fill you up without being unwieldy, this may be the one for you.

While it could technically be used anally, I do not recommend it. The material is not ideal as it cannot be sterilized, and there is much girth and give to this toy, which would make it very difficult to insert.

Vaginally use is an entirely different story. You may need to spend a little extra time warming up and getting used to the Bulge’s size, but it is definitely worthwhile. This toy will fill you up and squish to fit your anatomy. Once lubed up and ready to go, the Bulge has the perfect amount of drag to drive most wild.

If you have difficulty reaching orgasm from penetration alone, this toy may not be the one to tip you over the edge. However, it still feels incredible and is perfect when used to provide a full feeling to supplement clitoral stimulation. The Blush Bulge collects a ton of lint and hair when it comes into contact with it, but I have had no issues so far with washing or picking stuff off of it.

It may be designed to appear realistic, but I wouldn’t say that the Blush Bulge’s appearance strictly fits that description. The veins on the shaft are greatly exaggerated, which isn’t a bad thing necessarily, but takes away from the realism (at least as far as looks).

My experience may be somewhat limited, but the Bulge felt very realistic to me. I absolutely love the texture on the shaft and the shape of the head. The veins are wonderful for adding sensation. If UR3 were safer, I would be entirely smitten with this toy.

This toy is very plushy and flexible, so I highly recommend using lube, especially if you are very tight or have limited experience with penetration.

As far as design, this toy is absolutely perfect. The head is bulbous without being too much to take, and the shaft has incredible texture. It has great balls to hold on to (I recommended gripping them to help thrust), and the girth and length are mind-blowing. The Bulge will fill you up without making you feel as though you’re being split in two. I wish there were more toys of this size, as it really is great, so long as you love girthy toys as much as I do.

In total, the Blush Bulge is around 6", but only about 4 1/2" of that can be inserted.



This toy is a bit thick for beginners at 1 3/4" in diameter. It was, however, my first dildo, and I had little to know trouble working up to it. Just make sure you have plenty of lube on hand.

While the Blush Bulge has an exaggerated realism, it does look like a penis, and is therefore far from discreet. I would not recommend traveling with this toy if you are worried that people with see it.

If you want a basic but filling dildo that feels real without costing a fortune, the Blush Bulge really is wonderful. It's great for solo or partner play, and will provide endless entertainment with its soft realism. Just keep in mind that Blush is a big boy, and you will likely need some lube to ease the way.

There are only two areas where the Bulge falls short for me. Firstly, it is not firm enough or equipped with a suction cup for riding. This is certainly not a dealbreaker, but I would love if Doc Johnson considered designing a hands-free cock with the same measurements as the Blush Bulge.

Secondly, this toy is not compatible with most harnesses. There may be some O-rings out there that could accommodate the Bulge’s girth, but not many. If you really want a dildo for strap-on play, this is not the toy for you.

Overall, the Bulge is not extremely difficult to care for. There may be the extra step of powdering it, but nothing too time-consuming.

It should be washed before and after use with mild soap and water, dried thoroughly, air-dried briefly, and then dusted with cornstarch powder. Do not store this toy with other toys, as this can damage the material, and do not store it in direct sunlight.

The plastic casing this dildo is packaged in is fine for long-term storage, although I personally wrap it in an old t-shirt and store it in my toychest.

When selecting a lubricant to use with the Blush Bulge, you must choose one that is water-based. Silicone or oil based lube will damage the material.

The Blush Bulge UR3 Cock arrives in clear plastic packaging. It is in no way discreet, as the product can be seen and the shape felt through the packaging.



The packaging itself is very easy to open and can be reused for storage of the toy. It does not provide much information on the care of the product.

I spent weeks admiring this toy before I finally worked up the nerve to order it, and I’m glad I finally did! It’s not a perfect product, but it’s everything I had hoped for in a first dildo, and I have had (and expect to have) a lot of fun with this toy. It will always have a special place in my toy collection. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking for the next toy of many, the Blush Bulge definitely deserves some consideration.
