Not Slim at All!

The name "Feeldoe Slim" is a lot like saying "Hummer Slim" or "Football Field Slim." Even the slim version is still going to be pretty girthy. The design and angle of the toy did not work for me and my girlfriend. Unfortunately, it is impossible to know whether the Feeldoe Slim will work for you and your partner without purchasing it.

Pros:
Great material, no odor, beautiful design, versatile, shaft great for solo masturbation.
Cons:
Wide dildo and wider plug, design does not work for all couples.

Use

I think of the Feeldoe Slim the same way I think of a big, beautiful person: wonderful, valuable, and beautifully made, but in no way slim! It's a great toy, but "slim" is a completely inaccurate description, and an inaccurate description does not do a toy (or person, for that matter) justice.

When I first opened the box, I thought there had been a mistake and I had been sent the Feeldoe More. However, upon closely examining the packaging, I confirmed that this was, in fact, the model I ordered.

I am a very petite 22-year-old girl who has never had children. I have pelvic floor problems and was hoping that the Feeldoe Slim would be my chance to use a double-ended dildo with my girlfriend. My girlfriend is 5'4", of average build, and has not had children either. We typically use dildos that are 1"–1.25" in diameter. When we tried to use the Feeldoe Slim, neither of us could insert either end. On a second attempt, she was able to insert the shaft, but I could not insert either component. We were very disappointed as this was a very expensive toy. It is beautifully made and the quality is amazing, but it looked like it wouldn't work for us.

However, our luck changed. I received a dilator set as an assignment to help with my pelvic floor problems. After practicing with the dilator kit, I found a way to insert the bulb in my vagina (see how in the "Design/Shape/Size" section). Once I had inserted the bulb, I tried about 10 different positions with my girlfriend but had difficulty inserting the dildo. Either it simply would not go in or she was in a lot of pain.

Maybe this toy works for pegging or for lesbian couples with flexible bodies who prefer larger toys, but this toy was a dud for us. I do enjoy using the shaft for solo masturbation, but I don't think we'll ever be able to enjoy it as a couple.

Material / Texture

The material is nothing short of amazing. It is pure silicone, smooth, and just soft enough to not hurt, but firm enough for penetration. The Feeldoe Slim has no odor whatsoever, which is wonderful! It is not porous and can be cleaned by boiling, allowing it to be fully sanitized. However, the Feeldoe Slim does attract dust and hair, but unlike jelly and more porous substances, the dust can be removed fairly easily.

I don't know if this counts as texture, but there are three little nubs placed strategically to stimulate the clitoris of the penetrating partner. I was worried that the nubs would be painful for me (nubby things usually are), but they were not!
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all

Design / Shape / Size

Diameter is a very important factor for me in toy selection. EdenFantasys lists the diameter of the toy as 1 3/8", which I do not agree with.

The shaft appeared to be about 1.25", which was a pleasant surprise, although we still had trouble inserting it.

Shaft Measurement

However, it seems that the bulb is not perfectly circular, which is fine, but it renders the "diameter" measurement inaccurate. When the measurement is taken from the side, the toy is indeed 1 3/8" wide (in other words, the front-to-back measurement is 1 3/8").

Bulb Measurement from the Side

However, when measured from the FRONT, it is more like 1.5" wide, which means that the side-to-side measurement is about 1.5".

Bulb Measurement from the Front

Once I realized this, I had an epiphany. I knew that my vagina could stretch well front to back, but not so much side to side. I spread my legs, lubed up the bulb, and turned the toy so that the shaft was parallel to my thigh and the wider part of the bulb could be accommodated by my vagina. The bulb is quite big but narrows where it connects to the dildo to allow the body to hold in the toy. The bulb was quite painful to insert, but once it was inside me, I felt no pain. I was thrilled! "I finally get to see what having a penis is like," I thought. The powerful little bullet is embedded in the back of the toy, which stimulated my clitoris.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed to discover that the angle of the shaft was just a little bit off the mark for our bodies. I am very flexible, but my girlfriend is not. I had difficulty finding a position in which I could insert the shaft. When I was finally able to insert the shaft, it caused my girlfriend so much pain that I could not continue. Furthermore, while I was trying to penetrate her, I could not feel the vibrations as much as I could solo.

The Feeldoe Slim was "made for a woman by a woman," but I believe that woman has a very different body structure from mine.
    • Ergonomic

Performance

I loved the way the powerful little bullet stimulated my clitoris while the bulb was inside me; however, when it came to partner sex, the Feeldoe Slim did not deliver. It seems that the angle, size, and design works well for some couples, but it did not work well for me and my girlfriend. Unfortunately, since "trying out" sex toys before buying would be unsanitary, there is no way to figure out whether the Feeldoe Slim will work for you and your partner until you have already paid a lot of money for it.
    • Lots of variety in function

Care and Maintenance

This toy is very easy to take care of! The dildo can be boiled, bleached, washed in the dishwasher, or simply wiped down with sex toy cleaner.

Be sure to use a water-based lube as silicone-based lubes will not work with silicone toys like the Feeldoe Slim!

My girlfriend and I just keep the Feeldoe Slim in our sex toy box. It does attract dust, but that can be washed away easily during our pre-sex toy cleaning.
    • Easy to clean

Packaging

The packaging looks like the standard, impossible-to-open clear material that many electronics come in. It was very sturdy, so I braced myself at the thought of injuring myself while attempting to open another deadly, impenetrable plastic casing, but I was pleasantly surprised at how easily it popped open.

The clear packaging is very useful, especially for someone who is purchasing it from a sex shop rather than online as it allows the buyer to see exactly what the product looks like and which accessories are included. The bullet was displayed next to the main dildo.

Packaging

Many people are frustrated with the fake-looking "porn star" female models on the packaging of sex toys marketed to women. However, in this packaging, Tantus was able to use a beautiful female model in a way that would be inviting to any customer—male, female, heterosexual, homosexual, or anywhere in between. The model is racially ambiguous with long, dark hair. She is beautiful, but her makeup is fairly minimal and natural. She is removing her bra (which is kind of blurred out) and delicately placing her hands on her chest with her eyes closed. She looks comfortable, as though she is in a lot of pleasure but not in a pornographic or exaggerated way. The picture is tasteful and in black and white. As a woman, I was able to look at her and say, "That looks nice; I want to feel like that." The front and the back of the package mentions that the Feeldoe was made "for a woman by a woman," which gave me very high expectations for the design.

The back of the package first describes how the Feeldoe works without a harness: "The bulb end of the dildo is held inside the vagina by contracting vaginal muscles." It also includes tips for use, including that "A male can wear it anally for double penetrating action or in cases of penile dysfunction," which I thought was really interesting. While my partner is female, I think that many men and people in relationships with biomen would be interested to learn about this. The package also includes instructions for cleaning the toy, which is missing from a lot of toys' packaging.

The package also includes this inscription: "Before you put something inside your body, know where it is made and what it is made of!" This made me feel that I could trust Tantus to not sell me a product with any known carcinogens or other dangerous ingredients.

Although I like the transparent, helpful, detailed, and sensual packaging, be warned: the Feeldoe is not packaged for discretion! I had EdenFantasys ship the package to my parents' house because things keep getting stolen from my apartment's mailbox. I am lucky to have parents who respect me as a fellow adult and who don't like to go through my mail. However, my father had trouble getting my package out of the mailbox and thought opening the box would help free it, and he was able to tell what it was immediately! Very embarrassing!

The plastic packaging could be used for storage, but I think I'd rather keep it in my sex toy box.

Follow-up commentary
It's a great toy, it just doesn't live up to its slim description. I have been doing physical therapy to help with my pain during sex, which has helped a lot. My girlfriend and I started liking the toy more when we stopped seeing it as a couple's toy and started seeing it as a solo dildo. We both enjoy masturbating with the shaft. Although it is not what I had expected, I am glad I have it.

Thanks for an extremely detailed review! I'm so sorry to hear that the shape didn't work out for you and your girlfriend. Perhaps if you're lucky you can find someone who wants it for a discount and doesn't mind having it used-but-boiled.

I'm interested in the Feeldoe Slim for solo play. You said it worked well for solo masturbation. How many stars would you give it for that purpose only?

I should have included that, Bunnycups. I'd give it 4.5 stars for solo masturbation. My girlfriend is able to use the shaft solo and said the curvature is not quite right for her. However, when I use it solo, I love it!

  • Good for anal virgin guy?

So I'm considering getting a slim version for double penetration with my girlfriend and wondering if this would be the best bet because theres no straps. She has done some playing with my butt but I don't know if this is really the best bet for us. Do any couples have experience with this especially with a semi-inexperienced guy? I really like the no-strap design and would like to have some enjoyment myself hence the built in vibe! Thanks and any suggestions are appreciated!

Hey dude. Good luck with the playing! I would suggest getting a cheaper butt plug before dropping 100 bucks on this only to find out that you can only use it for pegging (not a purely bad thing but not what you intended buying it for). The sites are a little all over the place with dimensions but the buld end is 1 3/4 inches - which if you're an anal virgin would be quite difficult to handle.

Try getting the triple ripple . I've just ordered one bacuase of the fact that most reviews say it's great for "anal training" to help you get to the girth you want. If you can't fit that toy then it's only 10 buck you wasted instead of 100.

      Happy playing!!!
    • Though the strapless design is nice, it doesn't stay in for everyone. I think this particular model is one that a lot of people need to use a harness for for security.

Sizewise, it's a good choice if you already have some anal play experience. Have you used toys with a similar girth already? If so, this should work well for you.

  • Feeldoe slim vs. Share?
    • I'm wanting to finally get a double ended strapon soon, but I'm stuck deciding between the two. My goal is to have something slimmer on the receiver's end, and the feeldoe slim looks to be about the right size. However, the share's bulb looks like it would be much better for my wife, and it seems to taper down in size quite a bit.

So, which one would you guys recommend? Would the share be noticeably larger for me as a receiver? Should I just go with the feeldoe slim?

I would go with the share. The feeldoe is not really worth what you pay for it. The vibrator is minimal (while it last) and its hard for the receiver to be pleasured. Also, its very difficult to keep the feeldoe instereted into the giver. I believe you would be happier with the share!
    • Consider that the Share is larger than the Slim on the receiver's end. Did you also consider the Nexus Jr.?

Strap on fucking is so hot. We use Nexus Jr. double dildo. DW had her first squirting orgasm using it. You will love it!!
