Durex play warming - lubricant discontinued by Durex - review by RainbowBrite

I am a big fan of temperature play and hoped that this lube would be a winner for a warming lube. I have tried the Durex play quiver and was quite happy with that product. Unfortunately I was quickly disappointed by this warming product.

This lubricant did not warm with friction like I was used to with other warming lubes, nor did it warm with touch or breath. The 'warming sensation' they advertise is so slight that it might as well not be there. While the lube did not really warm as expected it did last though some foreplay on through intercourse, there was also no need to reapply. I was quite amazed at this as the lube has quite a sticky consistency. In the beginning it was working out great, but after a few minutes it began to dry and become very sticky. Now, the lube did last, but the after effects were quite unpleasant...my husband and I were both left feeling quite tacky & ready for a shower. Another unpleasant aspect of this lube was the scent...this is supposed to be an odor-less product and while it didn't necessarily have a 'scent' it did have a quite unfavorable odor, sort of sterile & plastic-like.

Using this lube with toys was also another letdown. This product became too dry & sticky to be used comfortably with jelly toys, reapplication was completely necessary. And again with this product, after masturbation I was left ready for a shower...it's never good when you feel like Karo syrup was poured over you and your beloved toys.

I will give Durex play warming lubricant this, it did not burn at all. I am quite sensitive to lubes, especially warming lubes and this did not leave me feeling uncomfortable or give me a burning feeling.

My husband & I were excited to try this warming lube as we are fans of temperature play and were sadly disappointed. I would stick to different warming lubes as this one just doesn't live up to it's name as it doesn't even warm!
