Durex play warming review

This Durex product, although from a rather well established brand, is entirely not worth the money due to an it's ineffective 'warming' aspect, sticky texture, and unpleasant odor.

I am a frisky sort of woman and am always open to new experiences, but I like to start slow before going straight for the big guns, which is why I decided that my husband and I ought to try out this warming lubricant by Durex|Durex play™ warming. Typically, it takes a little extra effort for me to get primed for the moment and my husband and I have been on a search to find the perfect personal lubricant|Personal Lubricants for just such times. Unfortunately, I can’t say we have had much luck.

For the most part, Durex has been a relatively trusty company, which was why we chose to give it a go. If their condoms make any statement about the quality of this company’s products, I had hoped their lube would satisfy as much as our past adventures had. Sadly, it was not to be.

The lubricant itself leaves much to be desired. As a woman who has had plenty of experience with personal lubricants, there are a few key factors that I look for. One thing that is especially important to me is the feel. A good lubricant needs to be smooth, and not a lot be required to have an enjoyable time. This product was sticky to the touch and wholly unpleasant to work with, not just because of it’s texture but surprisingly because of it’s unpleasant odor.

Number two on the list of must-haves is a pleasing aroma. Not heavy or overpowering, but lightly scented. With this, my husband and I are still attempting to figure out what it was we smelled since this is not a scented product. The closest thing we got to a description was that sterile hospital tang; not all together there, but seemingly impossible to ignore.

Lastly, the so-called warming sensation that one is supposed to feel was not just disappointing but almost non-existent. When I purchase a product that promises heat, I expect it to pack some punch, not this fleeting lukewarm business that we ended up having to compensate for.

Frankly, a personal lubricant that boasts of enhancing my sexual experience should not need my help to make it work, which is precisely what I found with this atrocious product.

How they can call this a "warming" lube is completely beyond me.  I felt no warming sensations at all either.

Nice review! Check out JO H2O warming lube- they make good lube overall, so maybe better luck there.

While some people don't like subtle warmth others do. That could actually be a positive for some people looking for a mild sensation.
