The Energie is casted out of iron-ore metal which weighs over a pound. The metal is encased in body safe, odorless, and phthalate free certified ABS plastic. The surface is smooth except for a very fine seam from the mold. It cannot be felt while inside the body. The color is gorgeous! It is more of a pistachio color than I have seen in pictures.

The Energie is two sided, one has a larger bulbed end than the other. Total length is 6 1/2" long. The curved double bulbed look, makes it resemble a dumb bell. Either of these is suitable for pretty much any woman, even those with narrow vaginal canals.

Its weight doesn't make it great for travel, but the packaging does, so if you would like to take this with you, you have a great travel case for it. Again, it is discreet because it looks like a futuristic dumbbell.

In order to increase the muscles you need to engage the correct ones just like when doing crunches. If you do not do them correctly, it is wasted energy. Results will only be achieved from correct and consistent use. To use correctly lie down on a bed or floor with your head elevated by a pillow. Bend your knees so that your feet lie flat. Make sure you are relaxed before attempting to insert the Energie. If you are just beginning use the large side. Most people think that larger is for the more advanced, but not in terms of this toy. The smaller side is harder to grip with the kegel muscles and therefor must be worked up to.

You may find that you need lubricant to insert either end. Only use a tiny bit because using too much may make the Energie too slippery and impossible to hold onto with the kegel muscles. When inserting, make sure that the curved end is facing up towards the ceiling. Only insert so that the bulb end rests just inside the vaginal canal. For me, I easily felt when the bulb was in place. Breathe in and then as you breathe out contract your kegel muscles as if you are trying to pull the Energie towards your belly button (the same contraction you would do if you are stopping a stream of urine). Hold this for 30 seconds or as long as you can if you cannot do it that long. I really liked to slightly pull on the Energie while pulling it in with my internal muscles. This created even more resistance to strengthen the area. Do 10 repetitions of this but make sure to relax between each rep. Doing this for 5-10 minutes a day for about 2 weeks should produce a result if you are doing it right; some people may need longer to notice results. After you notice a difference you can reduce the amount of use to once every other day.

To clean, wash the Energie with warm water and soap before and after use. You can use any kind of lubricant with the ABS plastic material. To store, place in the amazing case it comes in. It doesn't get any lower maintenance than that!

The packaging is just as sturdy and hefty as the Energie. A matte cardboard sleeve with images and descriptions of the Energie covers the case. The case is made of very thick white plastic with the following printed on it: "Natural Contours", "ENERGIE", and in very small lettering "Vaginal Muscle Trainer". Even though it says what this is on the top, it really is discreet and could lay on a night stand. Inside is another hard plastic piece that the Energie drops into keeping it in place and preventing it from knocking around. Inside is also a very informative pamphlet telling you everything you need to know about the Energie.
