The first thing I noticed about the Short & Sweet clitoral vibe by Doc Johnson (apart from the colorful plastic packaging) is how small and pretty it is. Despite what the product images show, the vibe is actually a light greenish blue. The next thing I noticed after removing it from its packaging is how smooth and velvety the material feels. The overview claims only plastic, but this feels like it's been coated in something. I like it better than the feel of plain plastic. And just as you would expect from plastic, the vibe is hard and not flexible.

At only 4" long it lives up to its name. Yep, it's also sweet as well. It requires one AA battery and it provides strong vibrations. There's a small metal band that separates the body from the screw cap and the power button. Ah, the power button. This is one of two flaws that this vibe has; it's difficult to push. You have to push on it hard to turn it on and off and to alternate between its two speeds. This made it difficult to deal with during play, especially when it gets slick.

The small frustration of the button is overshadowed by how strong the vibrations are. The first speed is a subtle vibration and the second one is where the strength kicks in. I usually don't get off with clitoral vibes on their own, but this one actually did the trick. I really enjoy the second speed. Now here's where the second flaw is--the vibes are very loud when you hit that second speed. This will be heard through covers and most likely a door, so it's definitely not discreet in that sense. However, its smallness makes it discreet enough for travel and storage.

I love that it's unobtrusive so I can easily use it while penetrating myself with another toy without any bumping. It is indeed waterproof so you can take it in the tub with you. Clean up consists of warm/hot water and soap or your favorite toy cleaner. As for storing, I keep mine in a plastic baggie, but you can store this pretty much anywhere in anything. Despite its flaws, I'm really pleased with this vibe, and I see myself reaching for this a lot.
