The short and sweet vibe by Doc Johnson is a small vibrator that can be used for clitoris stimulation along with other external uses like the nipples, labia, or penis. It can also be used vaginally, but not for g-spot stimulation. It definitely is not for anal use, because there is no flared base. However, it could be used to tease the anus externally, if you wanted to. It has a push button at the bottom to turn it on, to speed one, to speed 2 and then off. I think the push button is pretty easy. I can turn it off with just 2 presses of the button. It’s not perfect, but I've never had a problem with it.

It comes in three colors: blue, purple, and pink. I went with blue. It has some ridges on it, which are not that noticeable, but I like them. It's pretty easy to hold being around 4 inches long and 2 1/2 inches in diameter. It has a rounded tip on the top, so it can be used for concentrated vibrations. I was not expecting much from the material when I bought this toy for such a low price, but the plastic is really smooth and velvety. The plastic is phthalates free, latex free, non-porous, hypo-allergenic, and made of food-grade material. Its over all safety rating is an 8.

This vibrator runs on one AA battery. I had one battery for an entire summer and it did not die (and I used it quite often.) The vibrations are not the strongest (compared to my new Uma) but I still prefer it, sometimes as extra stimulation with a partner or another toy. The first speed is steady light vibrations and it is a little buzzy. It is a bit louder then a cell phone but the sound can be dimmed by covers. The second speed is around a medium vroom, steady, and buzzier. This speed can be heard through a closed door if there is no background noise. For one battery though, it's pretty strong and has pretty nice vibrations.

It is waterproof, which is great. You can use it in the shower or bath. This also makes it easy to clean with soap and water. It is also safe to sanitize this with alcohol, if you were to share this toy. The battery compartment is at the bottom of the texture where the button is. Make sure to screw it tightly on for use and definitely for water use.

The packaging was pretty cute and colorful, but you can clearly see the vibrator. So, I do not think it would be a great place to store your toy. The toy is really small though so it can be hidden anywhere else really easy and is definitely a good travel companion.

This vibrator is a great toy that is worth its price. It has a great texture, you need only one battery, and it is waterproof. However, it is a bit medium on the vroom level, so for those who like lots of vrooms I wouldn't recommend it. However I think it is great for those with high sensitivity, or anyone who has never had a vibrator before.

I still like this toy, but I stopped using it just because I got a rechargeable clitoral vibrator. However, that one broke and my other vibrators just offered broad stimulation, so I started using this again. I have found that I have not had to change out the batteries since replacing them 3 months ago after my other one broke. Also, I wish a rechargeable one came in this shape with this texture, because I really like the ridges (I don't know why). Also, I didn't want to bring my rechargeable ones when I went to a foreign country (didn't know if the adapter would work), so I brought this (and it was a good travel companion). So this is always a good backup to have on hand, and good for those who don't want to spend a lot.
