Squeeze squeeze squeeze squeeze....

The Eclipse is a nice vaginal exerciser for anyone with a vagina. It is body-friendly and totally silent, and can be used in ways that produce multiple workout intensities. Vaginal sweatband and legwarmers not included.

extremely useful review
I never thought much about getting myself a set of vaginal balls. I'll do Kegels every once in a while because they feel good, and I like squeezing around things that are inserted into my vagina, but the idea of having a piece of vaginal exercise equipment was not high on my list. When our friendly admins decided to offer me the Eclipse, I thought about it before accepting. I finally decided that I (as everyone) could always use a little extra toning up, and that I should keep an open mind and try something new.

The Eclipse came in a plastic pouch inside of a cardboard box. Because these were my first vaginal balls, I looked eagerly for some sort of usage instructions but was disappointed to find that there were none. The balls themselves felt nice and heavy, and with a little shake I felt the pleasant vibrations of the weights inside. The tail and the silicone between the balls is somewhat stretchy, and the plastic is very glossy and smooth.

Insertion was fairly easy; I used just a drop of water-based lube and was able to slowly and comfortably ease both balls in. I was surprised by how big they were during insertion, but after they were inside they felt fine. The small silicone tail was easy to position for comfort once I put my clothes back on.

The Eclipse helped increase my awareness of my vaginal muscles. I have always found it easier to isolate them when I have something to squeeze against, and these vaginal balls were no exception. Standing, sitting, or laying down, flexing my muscles was a breeze. It also made me more aware of the fact that I have a vagina, especially while I was up and moving around. The little weights inside rattle around and cause pleasant vibrations even when I'm just walking, and they go totally nuts when I use the stairs. This could be good for my overall fitness as I am encouraged to take as many stairs as possible!

In addition to simple squeezing, I found that I could add an extra level to my vaginal workout by pulling on the tail and working my muscles to keep the balls inside. My muscles got tired pretty quickly doing this, so I know it did *something*.

I had no trouble keeping these in and can see them being suitable for longer usage periods and even use at work or in public. The rattle is completely inaudible, though the flush it brings to your cheeks may give you away.

Removal was easy; the silicone tail is grippy enough that it will not slip even if your fingers are all lubey. Be careful, though... if you pull on the tail and it does manage to slip out of your fingers, it will snap back at your vulva like a rubber band. Ouch.

The Eclipse is very easy to take care of as it is made of hard plastic and silicone. All it needs is a quick wash with warm water and soap, and a nice out-of-the-way storage place to keep lint off. It cannot be completely sterilized, so don't lend this out to your friends! Be sure to avoid using silicone lube with this toy unless you are prepared to do a spot-test first-- silicone lube can bond with silicone toys and this only results in bad things.

As a first-time user of vaginal balls, I have to say that I am impressed with the Eclipse. It feels like a high-quality toy that will last you a long time. It has just about the same dimensions as other vaginal balls with similar designs, so I'm sure that (save for variations in weight) the Eclipse is as good a choice as any. I have only been using it for about a week, so I will be sure to report back in a month or two with long-term "my vagina went from flab to fab in 8 weeks!" results.

Urg, I don't like the stretchy band... that's what the Teneo Duo has, and it scares me. I'd much prefer an actual string.
