The summer of 2011 in my part of the world hit record highs, sometimes in the triple digits. The humidity was so thick it could be cut with a knife. Unfortunately, as a gardener, I had to be in that heat a little more than I would have liked. If it weren't for this extraordinary little icy toy, I don't know how I would have made it.
The Vibrating Ice Massager is a unique sensory experience. There is nothing like ice to cool you down, and this is a toy that I mainly used in a non-sexual way. I have to admit that it was quite thrilling to use it even without the vibrating bullet. Being chilled down is a turn on for me and this toy did an amazing job at this. After a few hours gardening, I have often enjoyed lying in the rye grass and putting the toy between my breasts, on my wrists, my forehead, neck, and on occasion my outer and inner vaginal areas.
To get your ice massager set up for use, fill the bottom portion with water; put the lid on it and gently place into the freezer. In 4 hours there will be a half egg shaped piece of ice. Then you may insert the bullet or not depending on your mood. Place on any part of the body that you want chilled and thrilled. Very easy.
The ice massager comes in blue, pink, and silver. I chose the silver. It looks sleek and discreet. The bottom portion is a sort of frosted white.
It comes in 2 sizes and although I got the larger size, it was pretty small. The whole toy was 4" tall, while the ice itself was only 1 1/2" long and 5" in circumference. I would have loved it to be larger as my hot body melted it pretty quickly.
This is a very discreet toy both in sound (2 vrooms) and appearance. I have had this in the freezer everyday since I got it and no one has even noticed.
Made of silicone, this toy is very body safe. Phthalate and latex free, Hypo-allergenic, and non-porous. Easy to clean, just wash with soap and water. Disinfect with a 10% bleach solution. Silicone may be sterilized by boiling for 3 minutes, but the pieces of this toy are so thin and small, I have decided not to boil them.
I was quite surprised in the variety in functions provided in the bullet! I'm really not used to having this many speeds with a bullet, and I may just use this in other toys I own and invest in those nasty watch batteries because of it.

Level 4. Fast triple pulsation
Level 5. 6 fast pulsations stop
Level 6. 2 slow pulses, then 3 fast pulsations

Wow! I'm pretty amazed. To turn off hold button down instead of tapping.
Although the bullet has a decent strength, (3 vrooms) the vibrations do not transfer well through the ice. This was no problem for me as I mainly enjoyed the chill factor with this toy anyway.
The size of the bullet is pretty standard at 2 1/2" long and 2" in circumference. It fits perfectly inside the hole provided for it, but is a pain to remove. I found that adding a pinch of cornstarch inside the hole remedied this problem.
The bullet of this toy runs on 3 watch batteries, which are included.

I really got a lot of use out of this icy toy this summer! It is still in excellent shape and the bullet is still going strong. Didn't eat batteries so much as other bullets I own. Then again, I mostly just use the ice part. I know this is the large size, but the ice seems small to me. It melts really fast, but what else could you expect sizzling against my hot body! I probably won't use it as much during the winter months, but come spring this one will be back into regular use. A must have for hot blooded ladies and gents.

I was checking out this product and told my friend about it. Her husband suggested (as a joke Im sure) "Hey, make koolaid pops with it!" lmao.
Could this be done and not damage the toy? Adding a little flavor into the foreplay might not be such a bad idea! Although, of course, with the sugar issue-it wouldn't be a great idea to use in your nether regions lol. And it might get a little sticky, sure. But, kinda sounded like a fun idea!

Alright, so, I'm going to say this; some people can get away with sugars down there, and some can't. I know several who can get down with sugary things around their ladyparts and it doesn't bother them, but in mostly, sugar + vaginal area = uti/yeast infection holds true.
I also know there's sugar-free koolaid out there so if you wanted to risk it, you could...
But I'm not sure if it would hurt or stain the toy. Sounds like a judgement call as to what would work with your body, as well as what you want to risk with the toy. You could spot-test the koolaid on it to see if there's any weird stuff going on, though.

Awesome review, very thorough! Watch batteries can be pretty annoying, I agree. But as far as I know, pretty much all wireless bullets use them. One thing to keep in mind is that most sex toys that use watch batteries use either AG13 (also known as LR44) or AG10 (also known as LR1130), which look pretty similar and you have to make sure you're getting the right one! Sometimes it's easier to take a dead one with you to the store to be sure, you never know which code the batteries' packaging may have on it.
Oh neat, I'm glad you enjoy this so much! The silver one looks really slick. I love this idea, but you and I have opposite body temperatures. When I finish my gardening I always have to change into a sweater because everyone wants the air conditioning on But if I lived in a hotter climate, or by myself (so the ac could stay off!) I would definitely try this out.
Oh---there wasn't any "Christmas story effect" if you put it straight from the freezer to your vagina, was there?

I'm really hot natured and in arkansas it gets really humid so I might have to give this a try just for the cooling off part. We're not into temperature play at the moment, but I sure could see the benefits of having this around on a hot summers day. Great ideas.
