For the most part, I would say that this is a book that is worthy of buying if you like gay erotica that is. Sure some of the stories are predictable, but some of them will make you grin and chuckle thinking you'd be just as cheeky as some of the characters. Some of the stories will make you think, a story might make you cringe then sigh with relief (some people can just be mean and take advantage you know!) and hopefully for some people out there, they will turn you on.

This book is so hot it should catch on fire as you are reading it. The stories are the kind that you want to read again and again, with a partner, with a sex toy, with a new love interest. The stories in this book may also have you consider pushing some boundaries or trying something that you have not before. A must read.

Take Me There is the only collection of trans/genderqueer erotica out there that I am aware of and it is a great introduction to a largely unrepresented group. This is a great collection of well-written erotic stories edited by Tristan Taormino, one of the biggest names in the alternative-erotica world. I would imagine that anyone with an open mind and an eagerness for well written erotica would find this to be as equally fascinating as I did.

I was pretty disappointed with how I responded to this book. The stories were either too adventurous or too flowery for my tastes, as far as the sex scenes were concerned. However, it was a well-written and very professional book. I enjoyed reading it even though it did not turn my crank. If other short story collections from Cleis Press have been too vanilla for you then check this out.

Aside from not being able to carry it around, I really loved this book. The rich variety of characters and settings of the fairy tale inspired stories really set this collection apart in my mind.

Overall it was a very entertaining and fast read. I found myself taking my time with this book, even though the stories weren't that long. I read a couple of stories here and there until I was finished. It might not keep you up all night wanting to finish, but it is a book that you don't wish you had your time back after you finished reading it. Definitely worth a second look.

Unfortunately, if you're looking for all your favorite fairy tales reworked into awesomely kinky and sexy stories, this isn't it. There are a few stories that are obviously based on some classics, and a few that just have more of a fairy tale feel to them. Not all of them will get everybody all hot and bothered, but it's still a good read nonetheless.

This anthology was well put together and the stories fit amazingly well together. While every single story wasn't the right fit for me, as a whole, it was a book that holds a special place for me husband and I. I loved this book so much that when I "lost" it for a couple of days, I simply HAD to buy a digital copy of it to continue these arousing stories. "Do Not Disturb" is now my favorite erotic novel that I own. (I own quite a few). It has unique stories that are perfect in their originality and erotic content. Some of the stories even feature some parts that just make you go "awww" as well.

I really enjoyed this book and I had a hard time putting it down. The stories are all well written and I could relate to most of the characters. The book featured some long time lovers and not just women conquering something they desire, but also owning their sexuality and loving their obsessions.

There were some good and not-so-good stories in Obsessed. I've read a lot more erotic stories than some of these. The likability factor of characters and plots are the same way - some good, some not-so-good. I wouldn't spend $15 on this book.

A heartwarming read; [italic|Obsessed, Erotic Romance For Women] is perfect for just before bed or when you feel like there is no hope and life is bleak. These stories aren't hardcore fetish stories nor are there any queer pairings, this book is aimed more toward heterosexual couples/singles. The subject matter, however, spans the gap and renders the stories group-less as well as timeless.
Well written stories, heartwarming, non-threatening topic and stories.
Might be too vanilla for some readers.

When I hear the word obsessed, I think of a desire that borders on madness, an all consuming flame that occupies every waking moment and even your dreams. The idea of a collection of erotica dedicated to this sounded seriously hot. However, hardly any of the stories actually dealt with the concept of obsession.

The topic of obsession is tailor made for erotica, but for a tome dedicated to all consuming desires, I don't find myself wanting to re-read much of it. I don't dislike the book, but I've read others, specifically from this editor, that I enjoyed more.
