This book is of full of Happy Endings

Aside from not being able to carry it around, I really loved this book. The rich variety of characters and settings of the fairy tale inspired stories really set this collection apart in my mind.

About author

The writing was very good. The authors were all very talented. There were some familiar names such as Saskia Walker and Delilah Devlin, but there were also a lot of new names. I've never read anything by Lousia Harte before but her story, "Ellie and the Shoemaker" was by far my favorite.

Content / Style / Audience

This super sexy book primarily consists of stories with heterosexual couples. The target audience seems to be heterosexual women. Although the twist on classic fairy tales will likely appeal to an even larger audience in the genre of erotic fiction. The sex is hot and the stories are compelling.

With each story being a sexy twist or retelling of a classic fairy tale, anyone who has a fascination with these stories and an appreciate of erotica will enjoy reading these.

There is a compelling romance in these stories as well. Though they are short the character development and relationship dynamic will be appealing to those who prefer erotic romance reads.

Design

The cover art is very sensual and even a little whimsical. The black and white photo conceals the faces of the couple pictured but the lines of her back and the way he's barely grazing her neck pull you into the scene.

Most people probably wouldn't carry this book around in their purse, but would probably tuck it away into the nightstand for bedtime reading.

Personal comments

I personally love fairy tales and these stories really drew me in. There were darker themes in "The Obedient Wife" by Delilah Devlin and "Big Bad Wolf" by Alana Noel Voth, and much lighter playful themes in "Ellie and the Shoemaker" by Louisa Harte and Jeremy Edwards's "Gildi and the Unwieldy, Ineffectual Committee of Bears". While there was a definite theme, there was also a lot of variety. I really enjoyed these stories.

Is this more romantic or more sexual? I have read a few "erotic" books that have almost no sex in them at all and I was wondering if this is one of them.
