She Comes First - erotic book by Regan Books - review by Mwar

She Comes First should be required reading for anyone who wishes to worship the clitoris and female pleasure. Dr. Kerner explains in his easy to follow style the art of cunninglus and how it is pleasing to both men and women in their own way.

She Comes First is divided into three parts. The first part gives you all the essentials you need before embarking on the journey to female pleasure. Kerner gives a brief and interesting history lesson about female sexuality and how it has changed over time. With noted references he shows how an increased focus on patriarchy made the clitoris almost disappear in human sexuality. Thankfully, with the sexual revolution, women began to look for their own pleasure and the clitoris resurfaced! Thank goodness!

Moving on, the book has the essential diagrams and anatomy descriptions. I was surprised by how detailed Dr. Kerner was with his female anatomy section. Even if you have a vulva you will learn something from this section. Also, I have found that She Comes First is indeed very male friendly. I gave the book to my boyfriend to read and he commented on the straightforward style of writing. He also stated he liked how chapters were neatly summarized as numbered points. I personally didn't pay much attention to that until he mentioned it.

Alas, the next section is the most anticipated: the art of Cunninglus. Again, I was pleasantly surprised by Kerner's treatment on the subject. It's not a simple 1-2-3 instruction book. It's almost cute as Dr. Kerner presents part of this section as a user manual. She Comes First talks about female arousal beyond the clitoris, such as female sexual response, psychological response, and more. She Comes First breaks down all the elements of female arousal and illuminates them to the reader.

Finally, the last section has last thoughts, informative appendices and a list of sources. All useful sexual education and information.

Overall, I'm very pleased with She Comes First. The feminist in me is happy such information is readily available. It also wishes some of the book's contents were shouted from the highest hills. But I digress. Dr. Kerner, kiss me too!

It might be my excited feminist views talking, but I feel like every person who is either:

A) A woman or
B) Loves a woman

should read She Comes First. Penises have been glorified for way too long (no offense to the penis, I love them, too) without the clitoris getting the attention it deserves.

Women should never feel selfish or unsure about asking for pleasure.

We deserve it ladies.
