12 days of Christmas lip set - lip balm discontinued by Not Soap Radio - review by Airen Wolf

On the first day of Christmas, I gave to myself a Brown Sugar Lip Scrub that is "delish!" This little pot is filled with a creamy brown sugar scrub that gently buffs away dry, flaky skin. It is sweet but not meant to be licked off the lips. Simple apply to the lips and work it in small circles before rinsing it away with warm water.

On the second day of Christmas, I gave to myself a Breath Mint Lip Gloss that tingles and glistens in the light! This is one intensely minty lip balm. It goes on sheer and then tingles for quite some time. It most closely resembles a star light mint in smell and taste.

On the third day of Christmas, I gave to myself Cocoa Butter Lip Balm that made my tummy growl! The smell of this gloss will leave your head reeling and your stomach complaining. It smells like rich hot cocoa. It is a softer preparation that melts on the lips leaving them glossy and kissable. The taste is sweet and spicy.

On the fourth day of Christmas, I gave to myself Super Shiny Lips that drew admiring looks all night long! This soft gloss goes on sheer and imparts a soft color tint. It has a sweet smell and tastes a lot like almond sugar cookies, at least to me. It is a lovely soft pinkish red color and moisturizes the lips amazingly well.

On the fifth day of Christmas, I gave to myself Vanilla Mint Lip Balm that sent Sigel's heart thumping! This is another softer lip balm that melts easily and imparts a sheer color to naked lips. It is a deeper shade of pink approaching red but looks very sheer on lips. It is great over a matte lipstick, imparting a subtle shine. It smells amazing and is definitely vanilla mint in taste. It is Sigel's favorite in the entire set and I had to almost beat him with a stick to get him off my lips. Not that I was complaining too much...

On the sixth day of Christmas, I gave to myself matte Lip Balm that left my lips soft and sweet! This matte lip balm is heavily scented like almond and coconut oil and has a sweet finish to the taste. It is very subtle and perfect over more glossy lipstick. It is also great under your lipstick as it provides a perfect surface for even application.

On the seventh day of Christmas, I gave to myself Lip Conditioner for overnight moisturizing! Heavy with coconut oil, olive oil and aloe this balm has a unique smell and a sweet taste. it works wonders on dry, cracked lips overnight. Follow with a sweet scrub in the morning for maximum effect.

On the eighth day of Christmas, I gave to myself another Brown Sugar Lip Scrub! I guess you can never have too much lip scrub.

On the ninth day of Christmas, I gave to myself Sweet Kisses lip balm! This balm has a spicy smell but a sweet and spicy taste. It is infused with botanicals to leave the lips soft and kissable and it works like a charm. The balm is firm in the pot but melts easily and applies shiny but not glossy. It has a sheer tint that is flesh colored and won;t make your guy feel self conscious!

On the tenth day of Christmas, I gave to myself a Daytime Lip Conditioner! This is a great conditioner added under your favorite lipstick to provide a smooth and soft foundation. It is white in the pot and goes on clear. It is firm but melts easily and smoothly on the lips. It smells like rich coco butter and has an odd taste which is why I tend to use it under another flavored gloss or lipstick.

On the eleventh day of Christmas, I gave to myself Super Shiny Lips! This is a sweet and very fruity lip gloss that is firm in the pot but contains mica to bring up the shine. Perfect over another lipstick and for those holiday parties where you want a touch of sparkle.

On the twelfth day of Christmas, I gave to myself Matte Lips! If you prefer for your lips to not be your shining focal point then this is the matte gloss for you. It has very little fragrance and just a hint of sweetness. It is nude pink and firm in the pot but melts easily to a matte finish on the lips.

This kit comes packaged in a lovely little, clear, plastic zipper bag with a piece of cardboard that pictures all the pot labels and then describes each pot on the back. All of the ingredients are clearly listed on this piece of cardboard.
Each of the pots is heavy white plastic with a black plastic lid and a label on top. It is my opinion that the labels are hand placed as there were two pots mislabeled in my kit. Nothing major and it didn't ruin my enjoyment of the kit. The pots are recyclable as is the entire packaging. Storing the pots in the bag makes it perfect for overnights or traveling but they look darling on a dresser tray as well.
Each of the different products wases away cleanly with soap and water but are mild enough to leave on. They will leave a hint of sweetness to your lips that makes morning kisses something special!

This is a set of lip balms, scrubs and conditioners I cannot recommend enough. The products are top notch and hold up through cold weather and hot weather. Some of the pots are getting low and when they are empty I will be ordering another set!
