Both Beauty and Flavor!

No matter the cons to this candle, I recommend this particular scent (Vanilla & Creme de Cacao) to anyone who has a fondness for expensive chocolates or creme brulee. It's deliciousness in a candle. The only real con is that you can't eat it. But it smells amazing and the texture is smooth and just the right consistency for a luxurious massage. And now, for our feature presentation!

It's a quiet evening at home. You've had a glass a wine and find yourself lounging in your bath robe while the sun goes down, darkening your room. You smile to yourself as you muse that candle light is much more appropriate for your night in than turning on those bright fluorescents. You take out your candle supply and find a special surprise. A Lelo Flickering Touch Massage Candle in Vanilla & Creme de Cacao. Perhaps your partner is giving you a hint at what they desire. This thought gives you a smile. But for tonight, it's all for you.

You admire the shiny, black packaging. Lelo always does a splendid job at wrapping their products in sophisticated ways. It may just be a simple box, but it bespeaks luxury. You open the top and see the product information, which is quickly tossed aside to reveal the top of the candle. It's a little dark cream colored ring attached to the sleek lid of the candle. Carefully grabbing the body of the candle rather than the lid, you slide it out of the box, revealing the sleek black glass container.

Damn sexy candle.

You remove the lid to see a foam insert to protect the candle during shipping. Ah, but Lelo has not ignored the details and there's a little black ribbon attached to the foam to aid in removing it from the candle with their name on it. Once you remove that piece, the body of the candle is now revealed. It's a cream color and immediately your nose gets a hint of the sweet, decant scent of what reminds you of an expensive dessert. Glorious.

You light up the wick which you notice does not contain lead, making it a much safer candle. You lay back and watch the flickering light against the dark sheen of the glass. Unfortunately the candle doesn't spread the delightful scent very quickly through the room so you settle for laying near it to experience the aroma that gets your mouth watering. Now you begin to wonder if you're hungry or horny. Can one be both? Now you wish your lover would show up already to help you out. But alas, it's just you for now.

Checking your watch, you notice it's been 15 minutes since you lit the candle and there's still not quite enough oil to use for massaging. So instead you study the wax. It's soy-based with essential oils and perfumes for scent and sensation. What a wonderful combination for safe and enjoyable massage. You begin to imagine just how wonderful that will be when you pull out your porcelain, glass, or steel massagers on your lover's back, chest, legs, careful to avoid sensitive areas as this oil is not safe for internal use...

After catching yourself daydreaming, you notice there's finally enough oil to use on yourself. You gently blow out the candle and dip your fingers into the lukewarm oil. It's the perfect body temperature and feels amazingly smooth in your hands. Lotion can not compare to the warm, liquidy sensation of massage oil and the smell is not juvenile flower gardens or hard-candies. It's rich cream with a hint of exotic cocoa, but you know that while it smells fantastic, it is not at all edible and should not be consumed.

You rub some on your hands and smile as the scent fills your senses and the oil warms your skin. It doesn't absorb or dry up immediately, making a little go a long way. It's not so thin and watery that you have to worry about it rolling down your body but it's not so thick that your body has any trouble absorbing it. Simply (and sinfully) perfect. You smirk as your imagination drives you to remove your robe and rub some on your chest. Oh yes, this is heavenly.

Having plenty of oil on your body to use for an impromptu evening massage, you reach out to put the candle up for the evening and notice that it melted only the inner ring of wax. You sigh and foresee a lot of wasted oil by the wick not melting all of it evenly. But you know you'll come up with something not to waste all of that delicious massage oil.

After your rub-down which left your skin feeling smooth, soft, and smelling of exotic treats, you tie your robe back up and head towards the bed when... *Knock-knock*

Who's at the door at this hour? You open it to reveal your lover standing there. Your partner leans in and gets a smell of the delicious aroma of the oil you spread over your body. A grin slowly crosses your lover's face and then a soft purr, "You smell like dessert."
Experience
Thank you for putting up with my short story. Just to reiterate, don't eat this stuff and do not attempt to use it as a lubricant. It works as neither of those things. But if you looking for a sensual addition to your "personal" time or as an addition to erotic partner massage, this candle will definitely deliver!
