Coochy: Refreshed, Sexy and Silky

It's so nice to feel sexy, have a clean-shaven pubic area and not have to worry about the burning and itching feelings I get after I shave. Besides the thickness of Coochy and slight difficulty spreading it, I'd highly recommend the product to anyone who shaves anywhere on their body - not just their Coochy.

Pros
No razor burn. When shaving pubic region, alleviates burning/itching after shaving.
Cons
Thick and goopy, hard to spread. May stick to some types of razors and make it difficult to shave

Coochy is a great product! It is a shaving cream that helps combat itching, burning and razor burn. I wish I had gotten one of the scents instead of the original, however, the original scent smells just like regular shaving cream. Once I run out of the original scented Coochy I'm going to try the Pear scent next.

Coochy is thicker than most shaving creams that I've used, however, when I shaved using the product it didn't get stuck in my razor. This may have been due to the fact that I washed my razor after every few strokes, however, I do that normally. The cream may get stuck in certain makes of razors such as some of the BIC or Gillette razors. I would imagine the 6 for $6 razors would be difficult to shave with when using Coochy due to its thickness.

Coochy is hard to spread along the place you want to shave. It took some rubbing - almost like rubbing lotion in - to get Coochy to spread across my body. It didn't take too much to shave under my arms - about a quarter-sized drop did the trick. I've been using Coochy for about a week now and it's alleviated the razor burn I normally get from under my arms.

When shaving in my pubic area I normally got lots of razor burn, am highly irritated and red afterward and often itch horribly. Not with Coochy. This product acts as a shaving cream, combats razor burn and has a soothing effect for all of the delicate areas that one might want to shave. I normally have to use another product called Bikini Zone to combat the itch that I get once I shave, but Coochy has alleviated that need!

I love this product even though it is thick and sometimes hard to spread across the area one wishes to shave. It's worth the difficulty because my razor burn and itch when shave have gone away - in other words, I now have 3 products (a shaving cream, something for my razor burn and something soothing for when I have my pubic area) in one.
Follow-up commentary
I got another botle Coochy shave creme and found this one to be much better quality. The Coochy shave creme did not get stuck in my razor, and more importantly, it had the right consistancy - smooth - instead of the goopey texture the first bottle had.

I love this product! =D

Weird, I have this and it is not thick or goopy at all. It is like conditioner. Maybe you got a bad batch?

Lauren - Yeah, maybe I did get a bad batch. I wonder if it goes bad after a while?
  • Contributor: Liz2
I use it all the time, just love it! Since I am always shaved and just doing maintaince this may make a difference.
I don't see how it could go bad.

Liz2 - My hair was pretty long in my pubic region when I shaved. Even though I trimmed before shaving it may have made using this product more difficult than it should have been.

Is it more like a lotion texture? Did your skin feel moisturized afterward?

I'm concerned about you getting a bad batch too. I really trust EF to provide quality products that aren't out of date. Did you just order it, or had it been sitting around a long time before you used it?

In the pink - My skin did feel moisturized afterwards, however, it seemed thicker than regular conditioner. I don't know, I'm having a hard time describing the texture...sorry!

Machina - I bought the bottle from a local sex toy shop. That's probably the issue.

I have this too and it has never been thick at all straight out of the bottle. With rubbing it gets a foamy appearance.

Weird. I'm going to have to buy another bottle of Coochy -- this time from EF -- and see the differences you guys are talking about.

Good luck! I find it so much like regular shave cream, only softer, leaving a conditioner like feel and it is foamy. Now that your pubic area has had a "rest" give it a touch-up. Could have also been how your hair was growing?
  • Contributor: queertastic
Liz2 - It could have been that my hair was growing. Although I trimmed it before I cut it, my hair was still long. Do you think this could have been part of the problem? I'll try using it again and will report back...
