Coochy can be used by anyone who wishes to shave body hair. It is directed towards those with female parts (hence the name Coochy) but it not limited to them. It's supposed to prevent razor burn and provide a smoother shave. Best used in the shower or when shaving with water over the sink as I tried dry shaving with it and it just wasn't worth the mess or the crappy shave.

As with all products there is a risk that someone, somewhere is allergic to an ingredient. The same is true for the Coochy shave cream.

Here are the ingredients: D.L. Water, Steralkonium Chloride, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Glycerin Stearate SE, Jojoba Oil, Lanolin, Keratin Protein, Panthenol, Allantion, Methyloparaben, Fragrance, Propylparaben

It feels much like a thinner lotion, which is what I prefer in a shave cream. I really dislike the real shaving creams. It's smooth and silky also like a thin lotion. A pump or two per leg should coat just enough to do the job without clogging the razor. It stays in place well, doesn't feel greasy, or sticky. It has a pump top that is great for getting the product out of the bottle but this is not uncommon for a shave product to have some sort of spray or pump top.

I have the Pear Berry and liked the smell. If a guy plans to use this and doesn't want something that smells fruity and flowery I would recommend going with uncented. It didn't smell familiar but it was pleasant anyway. I wasn't going to taste a shave cream so I can't really provide any insight there. The smell didn't linger after a few minutes out of the shower, which was okay since I like to smell stuff in the shower but put on my own stuff afterwards.

There was nothing bad about this, I just didn't think it was as incredible as most others did. It did provide a noticeably smoother shave sometimes, but didn't do too much in the way of preventing razor burn like I had primarily bought it for. I really feel that when used with the other products in this line that it would be more effective. As it is though I feel it is a little overpriced alone. I really wish they sold smaller sizes of all the shaving products in a kit so you could really get the full affect.

It spreads easily and stays in place, and it isn't so thick that it clogs your razor with every swipe. Overall I would definitely have to say on it's own it was just average. I have nothing bad to say about it, but I don't have any rave review to give either. I find that it doesn't really absorb into the skin like a lotion would so it of course has to be rinsed off which is easy.
