Delicious, rich, and milky

I honestly feel this product is worth the price. Ten dollars isn't really a bad price for the results I got from this product. I really look forward to trying some of the other pieces to the Dona Bath supplies so I can see if they all work as well as this one.

Use

The use of Dona bath milk is kind of self explanatory. It is meant to be used as an additive to your bath water to improve the softness and youthful appearance of your skin. I also just enjoy the lovely scent of the Blue Lotus that I picked up. Sometimes I open it and let it sit open for a few minutes so I can enjoy the scent wafting around me. It's labeled as "An aphrodisiac infused ritual" so I am assuming that it is supposed to make someone horny too.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The product comes in a powdered form which is actually a light yellow-green in color. It's a fine powder and when I first received mine, was kind of fluffy. When I put some on my hand, it was like a silky body powder in texture. I just tipped the container and sprinkled some in my bath water while running the water, but if you happen to have a small scoop or something that might be simpler.

Once I put the powder in the bath water I could see the water shift to a whitish color (thus bath milk I am assuming). Anyway, once I got into the bath tub I didn't notice anything odd about the sensation of the water. When I scooped water and poured it over my legs it felt kind of silky and when I touched my skin in the water I could feel a noticeable difference in texture.

Taste / Aroma

The smell is very powerful, but I find it to be delightful. The aroma wafts out of the bathroom after I use it. When I first received the product, I made a bunch of my friends smell it. The guys really liked it and said the smell "did things to them". I didn't ask for specifics. A few of the women seemed indifferent and a few really liked it so I suppose this comes down to preference. I enjoy floral scents, so the smell of the Blue Lotus is absolutely heavenly. I didn't want to taste this product because I don't think it was meant to be edible.

Performance

After bathing in the Dona Blue Lotus scented bath milk, I did notice a difference in my skin because it was more moisturized and soft. Compared to a bath with no additives, it was very nice. Compared to a Calgon bath, it was not quite as efficient, but it is also meant to be used with the other Dona products. I would say if all the products work as nicely as the bath milk, then my skin would be as soft as a baby's bottom. I didn't notice any odd residues remaining on my skin after I left the bath and dried myself. The only thing that lingered was the scent which isn't something I am opposed to.

Packaging

The product came through the mail in the standard EF box and when I opened it there was no packaging around the tub of powder. It is a round tub with a screw-on cap. There was a sticky label over the screw-on top to help keep it sealed. It boasts a simple, but pretty, label stating the container holds 8 oz of this aphrodisiac infused ritual. On the back it has some short instructions: "Add generously under running water into bath tub".

The instructions are followed by the ingredients which I am pleased to say seem fairly simple and mostly natural:
Dry Milk Powder
Magnesium Sulfate
Hydrolyzed Collagen
Nympheae Caserulea Flower (Blue Lotus Flower)
Fragrance

The screw-on lid can go on fairly tight. It didn't pop loose or de-thread like some plastic containers I have had are prone to doing. I'd say it is safe to travel with although somewhat bulky for limited space.

Special Features

It is supposed to be infused with an aphrodisiac. I can't say if this is legitimate. Being a psychology major, I kind of think it's all in your head. The only way to know is to try it.

Personal comments

The color of the powder for the Blue Lotus Bath Milk can throw you off because it is like a faint yellow-green color, but the smell is amazing and there was a noticeable difference in my skin.

Experience

I love to bathe with this product. I am very focused on smells and aromas. I have always been a soft floral/clean scent kind of woman so I really appreciated the scent of this. I can't do vanillas and sweet smells because it makes me feel like a cupcake and I don't need that with my muffin top.

When I sit in the bath I often cup my hand and slowly scoop water over different parts of my body. I like the sensation and it also releases the scent of whatever I have placed in the water. When I scooped water over my skin I felt like there was something extra in the water when it drizzled across me but hey, that might have been wishful thinking. When I rubbed against my thigh, touched a leg, brushed past my breast I definitely noticed a silky feeling on my skin. I was worried that such a difference would mean I would have to shower before getting out due to skin tightness and residue. When I stood and finally got out of the bath, I did not notice any of the problems I was worried about. Once I had dried, none of the product remained aside from the scent that I'm in love with anyway.
