Lather in luxury

All in all, I love this product! I love how the Camu Camu smells in the tub and boy oh boy it just relaxes the heck out of me! The scent is so mellow and slight; that is very important since I have been a long time sufferer of migraine headaches. I also adore how the Camu Camu makes my skin feel so unbelievably soft and supple!

Use

There is an awesome bath milk in town and its name is Dona by System JO's Bath Milk! This bath milk is absolutely perfect for those who need to relax and unwind. Come to think of it, I don't know of anyone who does not need to relax and unwind. I felt totally pampered with this bath milk and I've also used this product in conjunction with other products by the System JO line. The combination really proves to be rejuvenating. The System JO line is an all natural, paraben free and cruelty free line. My skin feels so silky and soft after using it. I even bought another container as a gift to my special someone.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The Bath Milk is comparable to flour or, better yet, powdered milk. It has a creme off-white color but when the powder is added with water it has a more translucent white color that may be compared to skim milk. When the bath has been ran, I felt as though, after about 5 minutes, my skin was a lot smoother than it was before. It does not leave a residue on my skin but the bathtub does seem to have a thin layer of film left. I will tell you that there are occasional clumps in the powder mix which may contribute to clumping in the bath water. The clumps do not allow the powder to fully dissolve. Most of the time I either leave it as is or mash it up with my hands. You could also use a strainer or sifter to sift the powder and separate the clumps but I personally find this to be too tedious.

Taste / Aroma

The (Camu Camu) Bath Milk has a very sweet smell that is awesomely tranquilizing. It calms my nerves and allows me to unwind that much quicker! It smells kind of fruity, like a peach with raspberry and pomelo fruit but it does not overpower the room. It has a slight, mellow fragrance and I love that. It is very relaxing. The fragrance leaves a slight trace on my skin for about 10 minutes, but it is very slight and if you do not know what smell you are looking for you might overlook it.

Performance

I absolutely love this Bath Milk! The scent, the texture, the way it feels on my skin is wonderful! The scent is very light and I adore this because most heavy scents trigger migraines for me. I love the way it makes my skin feel soft and supple! I will definitely be getting this again.

I would suggest adding the milk to the running water as you are filling up the tub. This tends to dissolve the particles much better. Aiding the dissolving process by gently swish-swashing your hand will be advised. Then, you are ready to step in and soak in this wonderful mixture for as long as you so choose. I soak for at least 15-20 minutes to really get the full benefit of the bath milk. I've also used the bath milk in conjunction with the bath salts for a nice foot scrub. I later tried the foot scrub without the bath salts and just the milk and it was more moisturized than the first time. I guess the salts dry the skin out more.

Special Features

The label on the 8 oz plastic tub claims that it is aphrodisiac infused. I have not had any experiences from this product that would validate such a claim but I am only one person.

Ingredients: Dry Milk Powder, Magnesium Sulfate, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Myrciaria Dubia (Camu Camu) Fruit Powder, Fragrance.
Follow-up commentary
When I opened the product, it smelled so good. My girlfriend even wanted some. I'm sure that we will be coming back for more. Dona products by Jo have definitely become a staple item in our routine feminine care.
