Mini Magic wand - vibrator by Vibratex - review by Lady Venus

The Mini Magic Wand, like all wand style vibrators, is designed for external stimulation. You can use this on your clit, your nipples, and it even has enough power to be used for an all over body massage. This vibrator would be great for travelers as it is rechargeable, petite, and discreet. It would also be a good choice for couple's play as there are no cords to get tangled in and it can easily be slipped between two bodies. Also, the Magic Mini Wand is water-resistant - so while you can’t submerge it, you can bring it into the shower with you.

The Mini Magic Wand is also set apart from other similar products because of the high quality materials it is made of. The head is a matte silicone with little ribs around the circumference to help enhance sensation. I do not notice the ribs during use. The handle is a nice, velvety plastic and is easy to grip onto during use. The overall texture is nice. The entire toy is smooth and velvety soft. There was no smell or taste out of the box.

The Magic Mini Wand looks identical to the Mystic Wand, but smaller. It is lightweight, fits nicely in my hand, and it's comfy to hold. It's relatively petite and the head doesn’t cover as much surface area as some other wands, but it is still plenty wide enough to massage the vulva/clit. The neck is also flexible, so it moves easily with your body.

This is a pretty discreet toy and would be suitable for traveling, especially with the various ways to charge it. Both the wand and charger fit nicely inside the included storage pouch, and with its small size it can be hidden just about anywhere.

The Mini Magic Wand has 6 vibrating settings:

1. low steady vibration
2. medium steady vibration
3. high steady vibration
4. short pulse followed by a long pulse
5. a series of pulses, starting from low to high. repeat.
6. escalating vibration that goes from low to medium, stops, then two quick medium pulses. repeat.

The vibrations are rather rumbly and I find this toy has a lot of oomph despite it's petite size. Once you hit the higher settings they do get close to buzzy. It has an almost rattly sound to it. I did, however, notice that with added pressure it seems to lower the rattly noise that it makes. The settings are controlled by a single button, which by pressing once will turn the toy on to its first setting. You must press the button to cycle through the six settings. There is no OFF button, but by pressing and holding the button for about 3 seconds, it will turn the toy off. All in all, for a wand style of vibe this is reasonably quiet, but isn't exactly whisper quiet either.


Charging:

I love that this toy is rechargeable. There are no power cords to fiddle with. The charging port is really unique. It doesn't have a wall plug, but the charger can plug directly into a USB port. It can take power from many different sources; from your IPod - to your PC - to your BlackBerry. The only problem I have with the charger is that it doesn't have any indicator for when the battery is fully charged.

This toy is not waterproof so the handle should not be submerged in water. It can be wiped down with alcohol to keep it clean. The head can be washed with warm soapy water or a toy cleaner. Dry it and store it. It can be stored along with its charger in the included toy pouch to keep it separated from other materials. With its petite size, it can be discreetly tucked away just about anywhere. Since the head of this this toy is made of silicone, you can only use water-based silicone with your Mini Magic Wand.

The toy comes in a see-through plastic package, but it doesn't scream sex toy. All it says is "Magic Wand", "Rechargeable", "100% Silicone", and "6 Vibrating Functions". Inside you will find the toy itself, the charger, storage pouch, and a sheet of illustrated instructions on how to use the charger.
