Not Bad!

For $10 you get a lovely fragrance to add to your bath that will lightly perfume your skin and leave you feeling soft and silky. It doesn't foam up in hard water but it also doesn't irritate my sensitive labia. All in all it's a solid product and one worth owning.

extremely useful review
When the DONA line from System Jo came out I was as excited as just about everyone else. The problem is I learned, much to my surprise, that the formulations proved to be harsh on my skin. I have very sensitive and rash prone skin and the milk baths and salts left my skin irritated instead of soothed. I realize I am not like about 95% of users and my skin really is terribly picky especially during the winter so I held off blasting System Jo. I mean, their other products are permanent fixtures in my home!

I bought some Arousing Herbal Bath Essences from the line and decided to see if it was the harsh water conditions we have here (heavy mineral) or the chemical base of the products that was causing the issue. We were going to visit some family that had softened water and I was invited to bring along some bath products to test my theory. I learned that the bath salts and cleansers just don't work with my skin but the bath essences were amazing!

The essences arrive in a plastic 6 oz bottle with a very pretty and family friendly bottle. It has a black plastic screw top lid that prevents spills and messes. Both bottle and lid are recyclable. These formulations are paraben free, cruelty free, natural, and petrochemical free all tremendously important criteria for me.

Now I need products that are not heavily fragranced but I do like to smell purty too! I ordered the Camu Camu and Mangosteen fragrances mainly because I already knew I love those two particularly. The gel is a light yellow and pours out fairly easily. I use a capful or two for best results. The formulations foamed just a touch in the soft water but in our harder water is doesn't. The fragrance will fill my small bathroom but only very lightly. This is fine by my guys since they both have stupidly sensitive sinuses.

I do find that my skin is very lightly perfumed by the essence but it isn't overwhelming and you really have to be close to smell anything. I prefer that but I know some users want a more pronounced fragrance. I didn't notice any libido increase from the formulation but I did notice soft skin and a lack of the usual itchiness and rash.

This essence has super high amounts of plant extracts in it so it can cause an allergic reaction is sensitive users. Here's a breakdown of the ingredients just in case you know you have a specific plant allergy:
Glycerin, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Ginkgo Biloba Seed Extract, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract, Paullina Cupana Seed Extract , Ptychopetalum Olacoides Root Extract , Turnera Diffusa Leaf Extract, Arnica Montana Flower Extract, Pausinystalia Yohimbe Bark Extract, PPG-26 Buteth-26, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Garcinia Mangostana (Mangosteen) Fruit, Fragrance

All in all for the price it's a nice addition to your bathroom shelf. It does what it's supposed to and it smells divine.
