Pleasure Garden- A warm, woodsy, exotic scent. Leaves your skin incredibly soft!

I love the massage oils from Kama Sutra! Pleasure Garden smells warm, cozy, and sexy. I really love this scent. The oil absorbs into the skin nicely without any stickiness or greasiness. For the price this is really nice high quality stuff! I use it as a moisturizer on my arms and legs so you don't have to just use it for massages. The only thing that bugs me is the bottle can get leaky and messy. I'd definitely recommend this product!

Use

Kama Sutra's Massage Oils are definitely a treat when giving or receiving a massage. The warm exotic scents relax and soothe while moisturizing your skin and leaving it soft and lightly perfumed. It's a great romantic extra in the bedroom! There's no stickiness left behind and you don't need to wash it off afterwards. It's not only for massages though because you can use it as a moisturizer on yourself! I buy Kama Sutra Massage Oils for myself to use as a moisturizer on my arms and legs. I personally prefer it over lotion sometimes when my skin is feeling particularly dry because the oil absorbs deeply and really softens the skin better than some lotions can. If you want to give/receive a wonderful massage or you want something that will give you velvety soft skin you should try it!

On a personal note, I have really sensitive skin and I'm allergic to a lot of things. When I've use this massage oil I've had no redness or itchiness at all! My skin soaks it up and I've had no negative effects only good ones.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Kama Sutra Massage Oils are light yellow in color and are very thin and watery. To dispense, click open the bottle top and shake the bottle into the palm of your hand (or squeeze) to get out a few drops. You can rub your hands together to warm the oil or you can put the bottle into a cup of hot water and let it sit for a few minutes to warm up. It's really easy to dispense the oil but you'll probably have to wash the outside of the bottle when you're finished because it can get messy! I close the lid tightly and wash it with warm soapy water and then dry it off.

The oils work extremely well on elbows and knees and dry skin in general. Dry skin just soaks up this oil like crazy and leaves you feeling sexy and soft! It absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves a silky feeling so a massage can last quite a while. There's no stickiness at all. You don't need to wash it off when you're done unless you've used too much and are feeling a little too oily. You can wash it off but I prefer to wipe off the excess and keep it on. I like to apply it on a nightly basis so I can take my time with it and make sure it's absorbed into my skin before I go to bed. I also like to use it right after taking a shower. After a shower all the moisture in my skin is stripped no matter how mild the temperature is so this stuff helps a lot with that!

Taste / Aroma

I took this from my review of the Massage Therapy Kit that I did previously. The scents are strong but not overpowering. I really love the woodsy/exotic/warm/herbal type of scents that the Kama Sutra Oils have. If you like sweet/candy/fruity type of scents you should try the Shunga massage oil!

~Purple- Healing Blend
"Rich blend of essential oils for soothing muscles and restoring harmony."
This scent is very relaxing and warm. This is a great scent for when you want to relax and unwind. It has elemi, clary sage, clove, and nutmeg. It's a warm and sensuous nutmeg/clove scent. It makes you feel warm and sleepy.

~Turquoise- Soaring Spirit
"Invigorating blend of pure essential oils to energize and refresh."
This scent contains scent notes of citrus, geranium, ginger and fennel. This scent makes you feel clean and awake! To me it smells like strong peppermint.

~Orange- Sweet Almond
"Sensual combination of calming oils for relaxation and de-stressing."
This one smells exactly like almond extract. I love that smell! It contains the oils of sweet almonds, vitamin E, and skin smoothing emollients.

~Green- Pleasure Garden
"Aromatic mix of pure essential oils for sensual and seductive intimacy."
This one contains oils from Italian bergamot, ylang ylang, neroli, rose, lavender, and sandalwood. To me it smells like a sexy blend of sandalwood and lavender. It's very warm and cozy.

~Blue- Serenity
"Soothing mixture of pure essential oils for quieting body and soul."
It contains oils from warm cedar, sweet marjoram, orange, and lavender. I think this one smells the lightest and kinda smells like a mix of sweet almond and healing blend. It doesn't smell unique. It's a very relaxing scent and it's the lightest.

Out of all of them my #1 favorite is Pleasure Garden! It's the one that I purchased for this review. I love having the big full sized bottle compared to the little sampler bottle in the Massage Therapy Kit. If you've never tried any of the scents before the Massage Therapy kit is a great buy because you get to try them all! You should check out my other review:

Performance

To dispense the oil you can shake the bottle or gently squeeze (be careful!) a few drops into your hand. Rub your hands together to warm it up and then massage it into your skin or your partners skin. This is for external use only! It's also not meant to be tasted or licked. It probably tastes bad but I haven't tried it myself and I wouldn't want to. The silky oil absorbs into the skin fairly quickly but it leaves your skin so silky and velvety that your hands just glide across. You could give a really nice long massage with this but you may need to reapply a few drops from time to time. Over all the performance of this product is excellent.

You don't have to wash it off but you may need to wash your hands afterwards. Or you can wipe the excess off with a towel. The scent lingers on the skin and it's a very pleasant and a medium/light strength of scent. If you're sensitive to scented products just be cautious with this type of item.

Packaging

Kama Sutra Massages oils come in a 8 fl. oz. plastic bottle with a black plastic lid. The lid is great because it has a click top and you can easily open and close it with one hand. There's a sticker label on the front that's very informative with a list of ingredients and scent description. When the label gets oily and wet after a few uses it may start to peel off a little but for the most part it stays on. It's one of those thick clear plastic labels that's super sticky so it doesn't come off easily.

The bottle can be leaky if the cap is even slightly loose so be careful with that. I'd definitely recommend not traveling with this because it could leak all over! I also wouldn't store the bottle laying down on it's side. My best advice is to keep it at home.

When I received this in my order the lid was on really tight and it was inside of a plastic baggy with a rubberband. Thank goodness it didn't leak all over! When I purchased the Massage Therapy Kit it came to me slightly leaky and all the bottles were oily. As long as they keep shipping them inside of plastic baggies I don't think you have anything to worry about. I imagine they check the big bottles before shipping them out too. I ordered mine in the middle of a hot summer and there wasn't even a tiny leak at all! It might happen though and you never know! If you've lost way too much product from leaking in the shipping process I'm sure you could work a deal out with edenfantasys. The customer service is excellent!

Special Features

Kama Sutra massage oils claim to refresh you, help soothe tired achy muscles, de-stress you, and relax you. I definitely believe that aromatherapy can definitely have these effects on the body and mind. Some of the scents are relaxing and warm and the others are invigorating. You can pick a massage oil for whatever mood you're in to enhance that mood!

The scent is also very relaxing depending on which scent you choose. I love aromatherapy type products and the warm cozy scents of the Kama Sutra massage oil definitely have an effect on my mood. At night before bed when I apply the oil it's very relaxing. I think this is an amazing product for the price! If you have dry skin I'd highly recommend using this. I'm really happy with this product and I'd definitely buy it again.

I love this massage oil! I've tried the Shunga massage oils as well and Kama Sutra is still my favorite. I honestly think it absorbs into the skin better and the softness lasts longer. I also love the herbaly/woodsy scents of the Kama Sutra oils. I'm glad I purchased a big bottle of this because I just love it. I think you should definitely try the sampler first if it's still in stock so you can see which scent is your favorite! Awesome product.

      Here's the problem- There are 5 scents to choose from, but no way to know what each one smells like! There is no description of any kind! And most of the names (Pleasure Garden, Healing Blend, Serenity and soaring Spirit) give no hint as to what scents they include!
      Does anyone know of a website/page that describes each scent option better than EF's product page?

      Ah, you're right! I read the first 3 reviews that had been posted on this product, and was discouraged when they didn't describe all 5 scents. After reading your response, I decided to go through and read every review for this product, in search of descriptions.
