Use

Treasure of the Sea Bath Salts are an amazing addition to a plain ordinary bath. They turn a normal bath into a wonderful, calming, and oh so relaxing escape. It's a Kama Sutra bath salt designed to create a relaxing atmosphere, which it definitely does. It's a fantastic way to enhance your sexual mood, or even just relax and enhance your inner mood.

This product would be great for any adult that wants to relax or any couple that wants to enhance their sexual moods with a great relaxing bath.

I had no allergic reactions to the product, and I've very sensitive to many bath products.

These are the ingredients that are in Treasure of the Sea: Sodium sulfate, Sodium sesquicarbonate, Sodium thiosulfate, Sodium dodecyl benzenesulfonate, Magnesium sulfate, Sodium lauryl sulfoacetate, Hydrated silica, Sodium C14-16 Olefin sulfonate, Fragrance, Wheat Germ Oil, Algae, Geraniol, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Linalool, Benzyl Benzoate.

Basically: Salt, Algae, Fragrance, Color, Oils.

The only precaution I would have for this product is that when you scoop out the salts be careful not to get any in your eyes, or mouth! It's very easy to fling around little salts on accident, so that would be the only precaution I would give!

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The texture is that of a thick salt, and it dissolves in the bath water. The water becomes silky and luxurious. It's an electric blue salt, that results in an ocean blue water. The water doesn't feel sticky, greasy, or gritty. Treasure of the Sea comes with a white seashell to scoop the bath salts out of the container. This is incredibly cute and clever, while also working extraordinarily well. This item really excels in this area, because there are no cons as far as the texture goes.
    • Textured
    • Velvety

Taste / Aroma

I didn't taste Treasure of the Sea, so I don't know what the taste would be! The smell is a calming ocean scent. It's not overly strong, but it isn't a weak smell either. I would say it is mildly strong, but not overwhelming.

Performance

I've used this product at least once a week, and the jar is still relatively full! If you use only a couple seashell scoops each time, this product will last forever! I've never had to wash this product off, because it's so velvety and smooth that it doesn't need it. It easily absorbs into your skin, and the relaxing scent subtly stays with you. It doesn't leave any rings or residue in your tub. So far, I haven't found anything bad about this product! It's the best scented bath product I've used!
    • Absorbs into skin nicely
    • Feels natural
    • Long lasting

Packaging

The Treasure of the Sea comes in a 24.6 oz jar, that has a screw top. It has a gorgeous blue label and comes with a seashell scoop. The packaging is suitable for travel. Simply screw the lid on tight, and place in your luggage! I would have no worries about traveling with this product, and fully believe it would travel securely! The packaging is semi-discreet, however the jar does say "Kamasutra" on it. On the back of the container the label says:

"Transform a simple bath into an ocean of azure blue with this extraordinary blend of nature's own sea salts, seaweeds and organic moisturizers. Includes a natural seashell scoop, a clean, fresh scent, and everything you need to turn your bathtub into an ocean of delight."
    • Does not leak
    • Easy to use / dispense
    • Travel friendly

  • KamaSutra's Treasure of the Sea ingredients?
    • I was looking at the Treasure of the Sea today and I can't find the ingredients on the product page. The whole page is just blank. I tried looking the ingredients up on Kama Sutra's page but I didn't find them there either. Can someone tell me the ingredients if you have this? I mainly just want to know if there is glycerin in this. I was going to buy the similar Shunga bath salts but those have glycerin so I can't use those. Thanks for any help you can give me!

I don't have them personally and couldn't find the ingredients listed on any online retailer but I did find an online blog review of them that lists ingredients - whether or not you choose to trust this blogger to have included everything is your call, but it looks like what the formulation would probably be to me.
