A Bubbly Blue Bathtime Fantasy

These bath salts are well worth the money! They're non irritating, they smell fantastic and they turn the water blue and bubbly during the bath. The only possible con of this product is that if you spill some of the salts and don't clean them properly they may stain material. They make your bath a spa-like experience and are extremely relaxing. Did I mention that it froths and bubbles? :D

Use

These bath salts are best used in an indoor bath tub. Sorry rednecks, you just won't get the best effect using them in a washtub unless you really agitate the water. They're best for anyone who loves soaking in a warm, relaxing bath or wants to pamper themselves. Just looking at them brings visions of soaking in a hot bath with bubbles, soft music and scented candles. Like with any soaps or scented body products, use these with caution if you have sensitive skin. I'm very sensitive to most lotions and bath products but I was fine using these. Each person is different though, so you should test a small area first before submerging your whole body.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The bath salts made the water feel thicker (and softer!) and the bubbles were really frothy. It was like slipping into silk water that smelled amazing. It comes with a seashell scoop that easily controls how much product gets used at a time. You can use 4 or 5 FULL scoops in the water and it still doesn't get goopy, greasy or leave a ring around the bath tub. Long after the bath it leaves your skin soft and smooth for touching.

Taste / Aroma

It has a really subtle, clean smell. At first I thought it smelled a bit like clean laundry in the bottle but the scent changes with your bath. If you use scented soap it matches and enhances that smell. After a long bath it left my whole bathroom smelling fresh and airy.
    • Light smell
    • Smells good

Performance

If you use 1 full scoop (salts over the top and falling out of the scoop) it will last a really long time. You can even use multiple scoops per bath and these bath salts still seem to last forever. They're so luxurious and soft you don't need to wash them off after, unless you have sensitive skin and get rashes easily. I've yet to find anything not awesome about this product. In fact, I'm going to go take a bath and use them right now.
    • Absorbs into skin nicely
    • Feels natural
    • Long lasting

Packaging

Comes in a bottle with a plastic seal around the lid like most bath salts and body products. The side of the bottle had printed instructions on how to best use the product.
    • Can be opened with one hand
    • Easy to use / dispense
    • Would make a nice gift
Follow-up commentary
After several months of having/using this, I still have some product left. My male partner has even taken a liking to it and uses it in his baths as well. I love the smell and how it makes my skin feel. I'll probably look into buying another when this finally runs out. I think it would make a great gift and am contemplating buying some for my mother for Christmas.
