Use

I enjoy using my Intimate Organics Massage Balm at night after spending long hours at work. It helps to prepare for a nice, sensual evening at home with my partner. Just from reading the label, one learns that this product "helps to create an intimate setting and frees inhibitions for both partners". The directions say to first warm the balm in your palms before applying with fingertips in long firm strokes.

I find that this works best. No one wants cold or lukewarm massage balm on their body. It always feels nicer when it's warmed up beforehand. As for product interactions, allergy concerns, or any other general precautions, I'd advise reading the label and noting all of the ingredients before using. Also, do not ingest this product.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

I found the texture and feel of this massage balm to be quite oily and slippery. This feeling, however, allows the balm to spread nicely for a great back massage. Some may argue that it's too "greasy", but I feel it's just right.

Taste / Aroma

First off, what exactly is a goji berry? It turns out that this berry is more commonly referred to as wolfberry and is only commercially known as goji berry. It is native to southeastern Europe and Asia. So that settles that dilemma.

The smell of the goji berry combined with cocoa beans is surprising. I had expected it to smell more like cocoa than anything, but the distinct smell of the berry really shines through. The overall aroma is unique and leaves a strong smell on skin.

Performance

You do not need to apply a copious amount of this massage balm to give a good massage. A little goes a long way. This high quality balm lasted throughout at least thirty solid minutes of massaging. After my partner and I finished with it, we didn't even need a towel to soak up excess; there was none! It had all absorbed into our skin.

I have no complaints about this product to share with you. The Intimate Organics line has never disappointed me. I'd definitely recommend any of their vast array of intimate products.

This massage balm comes packaged in a round container, not in a squeeze tube as pictured.
