Foot foreplay - lotion discontinued by Intimate Organics - review by David88

The Intimate Organics foot foreplay lotion's use is fairly self explanatory just by reading the name. It is designed to be used on the feet, either one's own or someone else's. Its name implies a sexual connection but this is not its only use. Used sexually it can provide some nice subtle foreplay, or for those who are into feet could be the main event. It's not something that will likely make you wicked horny but after a long day on your feet, it just might get you a little more in the mood and it feels good to boot.

Now obviously this product doesn't work on its own and does require some effort in the use of one's hands, but the nice thing with using this lotion is that it makes it much easier to give a foot massage by reducing the required pressure and decreasing the friction of the foot's skin. All while at the same time decreasing the foot's dryness and providing a nice soft aroma. There's nothing that says a foot massage has to be sexual. Sometimes its nice to give a partner a foot massage in no way connected with sex as a gift, one which is almost certainly to be received well with a nice foot lotion like this.

While its packaging might intimidate some using this on friends or family members' feet, it works equally there as well. While usable on other areas of the body, its formula seems best designed to be used solely on the feet. The one exception to this is in other areas of the body that become dry or cracked such as the hands or elbows. While it could possibly be used as a lubricant, it is best used solely as a lotion. This is a great item to get/give either for a honeymoon / getaway or for someone who's pregnant as their feet tend to swell and is likely to be received well.

This lotion is extremely thick and takes a pretty good squeeze to get it to come out of the tube. It's not a solid though and once out is fairly easy to rub in. It reminds me a lot of a mousse or something similar for your hair, really thick but still easily distributed. Looking at the ingredient list, the second ingredient after water is Caprylic triglycerides which I looked up and learned that it's fractionated coconut oil which is great for softening the skin. I absolutely love coconut oil so it's no wonder I love this stuff too. This lotion will not move from where you put it. I setup a test to see just how much it would move if I put it on an angle. This is what it looked like when I started and this was after ten minutes. Startling isn't it? I could of probably left it all day and it'd still stay there. As others have said, this lube is not oily or greasy though care should be taken when walking on slick surfaces after putting this on your feet as you are a little more likely to slip. The color of the lotion is almost completely white but more of a cream color. Here's a close-up of it.

The aroma of the fragrance I got (Energizing: Fresh orange / Wild ginger), is quite light which came as a surprise. I was expecting a realyl strong citrus type smell like you get when you peel an orange or something like that especially considering this fragrance is called energizing I expected it to be stronger. While the orange is the primary fragrance, it does not overwhelm the ginger. It has a distinctly feminine smell which my wife seems to like a lot. I'm more blasé about it. While I don't really love it, it's ok and the smell is light enough that it really doesn't bother me. Its scent is stronger once rubbed in than when you first squeeze it out and leaves your skin with a light scent all over for several hours after. I did not attempt to taste this lotion as I don't think it's intended for that and some of the ingredients might be bad taken internally.

I got this lotion based on the raving reviews I'd read from Alicia and others and I have to say they were right about this stuff. It's not the sort of thing that is useful for a bunch things but it does an excellent job as a foot lotion. Both my wife and I have used this product and in both cases it's dramatically reduced the dryness and cracks of our feet after just one use and at the same time feels good getting a massage with it. We have used this product probably five times or so and it still feels almost full. It takes about a quarter sized amount of lotion for each foot and once rubbed in will last for a full massage. This lotion absorbs really well into the skin but unlike some lotions where once it's in it's in, on this one there is still part of it that stays on the surface just enough to allow you to continue massaging for as long as you want but not enough so that you have to worry about washing it off after your done.

Intimate Organics foot foreplay comes packaged in a plastic bag like most lubricants and lotions from Eden. While not fancy, I actually normally keep my lubes and lotions in them as should there be a bit of a leak it doesn't get all over everything. The actual packaging of the product itself is as you see it on Eden's page. On the back left side is a list of the lotion's ingredients and on the right it has some information about the product including the fact that it's paraben free and pure vegan.

The tube uses a simple screw on screw off cap and comes with a seal over the opening so you know it hasn't been tampered with. The tube is about 5.5" long and around 3" wide at it's widest point. It's small size makes it great for traveling and between the lotion being very thick and the screw on cap I have very little fear of the lotion ever leaking.
