Use

Technically, this is not a sex toy. Wahl is a company that makes hair clippers and muscle massager. According to the manual that comes in the box this is a rechargeable massager and it is not intended to be used on the genitals, but so is the Hitachi and it is the most sold sex toy of all time! While not specifically designed for sexual purposes, women have been using Wahl products for quite a while. Obviously this toy works well simply as a massager. It can be used in major muscles, scalp, and even the face. As a sex toy it is a mega thumping clitoral vibrator. If you do not like strong vibrations than this is not the toy for you, however if you like the roar of a big diesel engine between your legs, this massager is a great wireless alternative to the Hitachi or other Wahl massagers.

Material / Texture

The Mini Wahl is a plastic bodied massager with 7 different PVC attachments. The plastic is hard and the PVC is firm so it transfers the vibrations very well. There is no smell to either the handle of the attachments and not taste either (Yes I licked the attachments just so I could give you a better review.)

Design / Shape / Size

The design of this massager does not scream sex toy. It comes with a standup base so you can easily store it in plain sight and not be afraid (unless you are visited b someone else who uses a massager as a sex toy but if the point that out just say it takes one to know one). Halfway down the neck of this massager is a flexible shaft that allows the head of the massager to bend to the left or right really well and front and back a little. The 7 different heads are designed with specific functions in mind. They are:

* Facial Attachment : A smooth surface for a gentle massage to the face.
* Muscle Kneading Attachment : Stimulates blood circulation
* Scalp Applicator : Resembles a hair brush pins.
* Knuckle & Joint Attachment : Triangular shape fits most knuckles and joints
* Deep Muscle Attachment : Digs deep to reach those tight knots and helps relieve pain.
* Spot Attachment : Pin-point massage
* General Body Attachment : All-over soothing massage

Functions / Performance / Controls

The control on this toy is super simple. There is just one button, a slide that changes the massager from off to on and back to off. There is only one speed, but the one speed is enough. The major downside to this piece of equipment is the noise level. People in China might be able to hear you use it but hey it is powerful enough that your screams of orgasmic pleasure could totally override the loung humming that is coming from beneath your sheets.

Care and Maintenance

The plastic handle is easy to clean. Simply use a wet clothe to wipe it down. The attachments are porous so do not share this toy accept in a committed monogamous relationship (being married for life has it's perks!) Feel free to use your favorite lube just try not to get it insidethe massager. Smoke and overheating are generally bad signs from any sex toy.

Packaging

The packing is totally non-sexual, something like you would find on a Walmart shelf.

While not as intense as our Hitachi, this is cordless and delivers some deep intense vibrations. Definitely a keeper and it gets used a lot.

Too bad it is loud. I need to know how it compares to the Wahl 2 Speed 7 in 1 massager. I can't get by without this toy, and I live in fear of a power outage. But, I need the POWER the full size plug in give me.

Do you have the regular Wahl?

An other reviewer said the new Wahl wand wasn't nearly as strong on High.

P'Gell - We do not have another Wahl but we do have a Hitachi and I would compare this to the low setting on it. Very deep and very strong.

  • Original Wahl v. Mini
    • How different are they? I recall the Wahl I experimented with as an adolescent (a neighbor girl's parents owned one...we found it collecting dust in the hall closet and for months were trading it back and forth!) because SO wonderfully DEEP and RUMBLY. I'm really, really turned off by the look of the Original and I'm wondering if the Mini might be worth getting instead. It's only one speed and apparently not quite as strong, but my concern is not the intensity but rather the depth.

      Anyone here own both? What say you about the rumbliness of the mini?
    • I own both and the biggest difference is the lack of the second speed on the mini. The one speed of the mini is the comparable to speed one on the full sized Whal. However the second setting on the Wahl 7 in 1 is a deep pounding like no other I have tried if you whant the deepest vibes the full sized Whal is worth it for that second speed. However is you like the first speed of the Wahl then the mini will suffice.

      Awesome reply, thank you. Exactly the kind of response I was hoping for. I think I'll try to Mini and if I really feel I want that crazy deep rumbly speed I'll opt for the Original, I guess!
