This gel would be great for foreplay, as an icebreaker, or for a little extra stimulation during solo or partner sex. It is slippery, but not really a lubricant. It's stimulating, but not in an overly-strong way. This would be good for beginners or anyone looking for a little flavor for oral sex. It is definitely more flavorful than it is stimulating.

This is a raspberry pink medium-thickness transparent gel. Kama Sutra calls it a balm. It is definitely a gel. It will run if given the chance, but is much thicker than a liquid. The consistency is similar to a loose hair gel. The color is absolutely lovely (deep pink) and matches the color of the tube.

This has a raspberry smell and taste, which is not too strong. It smells like raspberry candy and tastes like a very mild, watered-down raspberry candy.

Kama Sutra Stimulating Pleasure Balm is only lightly stimulating. It does not burn or have an extreme menthol cooling sensation. This is a fairly long-lasting gel that can be used to increase sensitivity on already-sensitive body parts or to add flavor to a favorite body part. A little bit goes a long way and, with the squeeze tube, can be easily reapplied. Even though the raspberry flavored gel's color is a rich, deep pink it does not seem to stain, but use care when in contact with delicate fabrics. This is not an oily product, and clean up is easy with soap and water.

Kama Sutra products are beautifully packaged and this balm is no exception. The small cardboard box with a golden tone-on-tone middle-eastern pattern just has an aura of luxury. The pink tube with black flip-top lid is also a quality design, although nothing special.

This is not discreet packaging, as it does say "Kama Sutra" and "arousal gel" clearly on the box and the tube.

At 1.7 ounces, feel free to take this on a flight in your carry-on.

Fans of all-natural personal products or lovers with sensitive parts probably won't like this so much. Although Kama Sutra calls this "hypoallergenic", there's that pesky glycerin in there as well as sucrose and artificial colors.
