Clitoral and Nipple Gel that Works Very Well. Almost Too Well.

The KamaSutra raspberry stimulating pleasure balm is a very interesting product, designed to increase blood flow on contact. The first product of this type that I and my wife used was the K-Y INTENSE arousal jelly, and I was very skeptical. However, the pleasure balm is in an entirely new world of effect. It can be used on the nipples - sparingly, it can be used on the clitoris to very great effect, and it was also used on the tip of my penis effectively.

The packaging and advertisements state that it can be used as a lubricant; I advise against this, as this product did work to increase blood flow significantly. This product is best used in the bedroom, couch, hotel room or similar. I do not know how well it works in the shower, but I will try that and follow up with a review to that effect.

This product does use some essential oils and chemicals, so check the ingredients before use. There is potential for interactions or allergic reactions. There seemed to be a lot of mint/mentholatum in the jelly, so be cautious of that.

I found the consistency of this gel to be fairly thin; this was a slight surprise, since it comes in a lotion squeeze bottle. I suspected something with the consistency of lotion; don't make the same mistake. It was slippery, with a feel similar to K-Y initially. It did not get sticky very quickly, and it was easy to pour. Think of a thin massage lotion, and you have approximately the right consistency.

It stayed in place fine; no problems in that area. I did not feel sticky or greasy, and my wife did not either. It is very effective, however, and as a result, you may immediately feel tingly, cool or something similar. The feel of the gel might have been skewed by the effects of the gel, even on my fingers.

I was expecting something raspberry; it smells like raspberry bubble gum, with a hint of alcohol. Not the best smelling thing I have found; it certainly smells nothing at all like the massage lotions that we have from Victoria's Secret, but it isn't a massage lotion, either. It doesn't have a particularly unpleasant or strong aroma, and you have to be very close to it to really smell the scent.

I did taste it, and my tongue was immediately tingly, and partially numb. I don't recommend tasting it in quantity, but for fellatio or cunnilingus, be aware that it will make your tongue and lips feel strange. It is designed to be 'kissed', as the package states.

As far as performance; this really is the product's selling point. I will be writing follow-up reviews on the performance to determine if it continues to be this effective; but for now, I will say that this product is very, very effective. It increases circulation, and can even go too far if you aren't careful.

Initially, I used a fair amount, like it was a massage lotion. This is a mistake. Use a small amount, and it will work. It does increase blood flow to the nipples (both male and female, surprisingly) and genitals. Excess amounts may increase the blood flow enough to make you feel itchy. The product cleans up well, although it was sticky after an hour or so, which made it more difficult to clean up.

What I liked best and least about the product was its sheer efficacy. It really worked, and I wasn't expecting that. In follow-up sessions, I used it very effectively in smaller amounts; I recommend using smaller amounts whole-heartedly.

The packaging was very elegant. The bottle itself was much like a hand lotion squeeze tube or similar. You likely have several squeeze bottles of this type, and it looks natural and discreet amongst other cosmetics. The box was not the victim of overpackaging like so many other adult products, and it was all marked with recycling symbols.

There was no users manual; really you don't need one, except it could benefit from a disclaimer of "squeeze slowly". This package is very suitable for travel, except for airplane travel something else would be necessary.

This gel certainly is packed full of sensations; cooling was the first thing I noticed, and the first thing my wife noticed as well. tingling was second, and then some pressure from the increased circulation. If used excessively, can feel itchy or unpleasant.

I had fun with this product. It enhanced foreplay and intercourse, and masturbation for my wife as well. One unforeseen benefit was with cunnilingus, which it made very interesting. I would recommend all of these applications, if you aren't familiar with the product. I would not recommend using it as a lube, despite what the package may say. After the gel was applied to my wife's clit, however, she complained that it made her feel strange, until her clit was being played with. This brought up the fact that this can speed things up unnecessarily if you don't use it strategically. And to continue the war metaphor; this is a very powerful weapon to have in your arsenal, so don't use it too early, unless that is what you are going for.
