Lip lovely set - lip balm by Bella Il Fiore - review by Lickable Lollie

I LOVE this product. It definitely does what it's supposed to do as far as exfoliating then softening lips. I have the peppermint scent and it's a nice scent that's strong, but not too strong. The lip balm doesn't have a lot of flavor, but you can taste the sweetness from the sugar in the scrub. The scrub has a nice gritty texture that you would expect from a scrub made of sugar. There is no listing for what ingredients are in the scrub, but the lip treatment has the ingredients listed on the container and the product information also has a list. They are as follows:

Safflower seed oil: moisturizing, best for people with normal to dry skin,
Coconut oil: prevents dryness and flaking of the skin and delays wrinkles
Beeswax: used as a barrier cream to protect against contaminants that may irritate the skin.
Shea butter: protects against the sun, rejuvenates aging skin
Peppermint oil: There are a lot of benefits to peppermint oil, and I would suggest looking it up...including increasing blood flow and soothing skin.
Jojoba seed oil: moisturizer that doesn't evaporate
and vitamin E: antioxidant, anti-aging and protects from the sun.

They each come in a 1 fl oz container which seems really big compared to other products that I've seen. Without the lid, each container is 1.5 inches in diameter and 1 inch high. They both come in a little pink and black box that is 3.25 inches across, just over an inch and a half deep and 1.75 inches high with a paper "bow" on top. One side says "BELLA IL FIORE Lip Lovely Peppermint Lip set" and on the other side it says "Silky smooth lips in two easy steps". This fab set includes "Sugar Kisses" Lip Scrub and "Rescue Me" Lip Treatment. Underneath that is their website www.bellabeauty.net and "Made in USA" in small print.

The scrub took off the dry, dead skin from my lips, leaving behind a nice clean slate to put the treatment on. It leaves my lips feeling tingly and smooth. After using the treatment, my lips feel velvety soft. I can't stop rubbing them together! I like that the balm doesn't have a flavor because it keeps me from licking my lips. Let's face it, when you find a good tasting lip gloss, you know you secretly taste it until you aren't wearing it anymore. It doesn't have a bad taste; it just doesn't have a taste at all. I would recommend this product to anyone with lips...man or woman. In fact, I even had my male roommate give it a try and he seems to think it's a great product too! It is well worth the price. I would honestly pay over $20 for this product without hesitation.
