Perfect For A Small Collection
An absolutely beautiful storage addition for anyone who has a small collection of toys. The Devine box also gives the user the option to store their toys in the open without raising too many questions.Published: December 14, 2010

The Devine Toy Lace Box measures 9 1/2 inches long, and 5 inches wide x 5 inches high. Red or purple satin covers the lid and is then adorned with fish net lace and lace flowers. The sides and base of the box are covered in vinyl for that faux-leather finish.
A small lock finishes the piece off and offers a bit more security for your toys, keeping them out of the way of prying eyes. Continue to store them under your bed, on your nightstand, it's up to you. The box, in my opinion, doesn't really scream 'sex toys,' but the fact that it has a lock on it might clue someone in if they spot it.
If you have a small collection, this is going to be right up your alley. Or even if you have a larger collection and you have a decent amount of smaller toys. I was slightly disappointed that this box did not hold more. However, the bulk of my collection right now consists of more bulky toys—rabbits and toys that have external battery compartments/chargers/etc. As my collection grows I'll rearrange my storage system. At that time, and I'm sure I'll be able to store a significantly larger amount in the Devine box.
The lock on the box seems secure enough. Of course we're not talking Master Lock quality, but for the quality of the box it seems sufficient. There are two keys that work with the lock, one for you and one for your partner, or a spare in case you lose one. I must say these keys are adorable and I'm actually contemplating putting one on a necklace chain or bracelet chain.
The only real disappointment that I found in the box was on the inside. Instead of the inside lid being lined with satin like the over view suggests, mine is just lined with the vinyl. This doesn't affect the function of the box, so it's not a big issue in my eyes. Nor would it deter me from purchasing another in the future.
The cost of the box was hard for me to swallow. But ultimately the beauty that this box provides makes up for it.

The only thing I find myself (still) wishing is that these came in larger sizes. However, I still absolutely love it.

Devine toy lace box – flimsy lock

I am looking into getting myself a proper toy box. I really like the look of this one, but the lock looks super flimsy. Do you think you could replace the lock with a different one?

I don't have that box, but I can't see why you couldn't replace the lock with something a bit more sturdy. I'm pretty sure a lot of other people have :)

wdanasSince the corset toy box I wanted is out of stock, I'm thinking of getting the lace toy box instead. One of the reviews mentioned a bit of fraying on the lace; from my experience with other lace items, I know that could potentially happen if it's not higher-quality or well put together. Can anyone who has had one of the lace boxes for awhile assure me it will hold up and not look messy and horrible after a year of use? :) -

I am not sure when you posted this, but we recently shipped them the corset style. Regarding your lace fraying issue, any lace receives lots of friction will show signs of ware and tear. The lace we use is not the super delicate french lace of lingerie, so has longer staying power than that certainly. We hope you love your DevineToy box, whichever you choose.

Have you ever considered making the corset box in different colors? The pink is nice, but red or purple would be beautiful too. :)

Do you think a few small electronics would fit in here?

a digital camera,a kindle,ipod touch and a nintendo 3ds?
Does that seem like it would fit nicely in this box? Would this bee a good choice or would they fit oddly in there? I'm not worried alot I just have a sister I don't trust and it makes me feel good to lock up things she might run off wih...SHe has been known to go through my bedroom and even take sexual things like the sex card position deck or porn then she leaves it lying around in her bedroom and then I get introuble for having those things.....BOOO! SHe is 21 now living here with her 30 year old boyfriend...I've wondered if they have dug around in here or if she gets urges too... -
I'm not entirely sure about the Kindle, but after watching Mistress Kay's video review on it, it looks like it would hold everything else easily and without problem. Although she recommends buying your own small padlock if you really want to keep people out of it. You could probably even keep a few other things in there with the camera, iPod, and Nintendo.

The Nintendo 3ds isn't out yet but will be in 2011...

Does the Devine toy lace box store well anywhere?

would it store well under your bed? I have a cat who likes to go under my bed not sure if she would touch this...If you wanted 2 of these would you be comfortable just storing it un top of your dresser or would u just get the devine toychest so you just hve to buy 1 storage item or do you think it depends what your storing? I thought maybe I lace box for vibrating stuff or glass then the other if I decide to get handcuffs or blindflods,ticklers or bdsm kind of stuff or misc like sexy dice or a small game...
