Isn't that the whole point... to remain slippery when wet? Yes. The silicone base lasted wonderfully in the water. My husband and I did not even have to reapply once during our bath play. I really liked that a little bit goes a long way. A few drops were really all we needed to stay slick. The second time, I accidentally applied a bit too much. I had to wipe some off because it was just too slick and there was decreased sensation. Now... whether that is from too much lubricant or birthing seven children, I cannot say. It may be a bit of both!

I liked that it made my husbands normally too rough fingers, nice and slippery. Usually, when he uses his fingers on me, it makes me raw or irritated. With the Platinum Wet, it allowed him to play without the resulting irritation. It is also nice to keep in the shower for masturbation. Just keep it out of reach of children, as it will make the floor slick and dangerous!

Yes, the product is pricey, but well worth the money. Like I said, used in moderation for its express purpose of water play, it will last a long time. I recommend using a separate lubricant for non-water involved activities. I don't have to worry about issues like shared toys and protection because I am married and monogamous, so I cannot offer any insight as to using the lube on shared toys and the like. My husband did like the product. It was nice that there was no scent or taste, because he does not really care for that. We will definitely use it again during our bath nights!

The only negative I experienced when using the Platinum Wet, was a slippery bathtub floor. As we exited the bath tub, I almost broke my neck! The floor was so slick that I had to be extra careful when getting out. I suggest scrubbing the bathtub or shower after...well, not right after :) but within the next day.
