Juicy Lube - The Taste Is Gonna Move Ya!

While not perfect by any stretch, the Mint flavor is cooling, tingling, minty and performs well. You'll need to reapply often, but you get plenty of lube at a decent price. I would recommend this product for any person or couple that has a wide variety of lubes (as long as you're not a paraben-free household).

Use

ID's Juice Lube is a flavored water-based lubricant designed for oral sex or for intercourse. With a variety of flavors (12 to choose from!) you can definitely keep things interesting. (and your partner guessing!)

For those looking for a natural or paraben-free product, this is not for you. The ingredient list is as follows: Water (aqua), glycerin, propylene glycol, cellulose polymer, polyethylene oxide, carbomer 981, polysorbate 20, methylparaben, sodium benzoate, sodium saccharin, aspartame, tetrahydroxypropyl ethylenediamine, diazolidinyl urea, EDTA.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The product feels like most water-based lubes do, with a semi-smooth viscosity that gets tacky over time. Like most flavored lubricants, this one feels 'sticky' after use, and a good wash-down is recommended.

The pump on this product makes for excellent application. 1-2 pumps is all you need to get things slippery, and reapplication is easier with a quick up than a flip-top bottle.

The consistency feels a little more like toothpaste than it does a normal water-based lubricant. It's thicker than you'd think, and needs to be rubbed in to get an even coating. It does not drip like a conventional lube would.

Taste / Aroma

The aroma is virtually nil, which I find interesting in a flavored lube. You can't smell it but you can taste it? I'd prefer to know before I put my tongue on it...

I purchased the 'mint' flavor, and it tasted more like toothpaste than spearmint. (Looks like toothpaste, tastes like toothpaste, but I didn't dare USE IT like toothpaste...) It's a subtle taste - not too powerful and not too light. Not the best 'minty' lube I've had but not the worst.

That being said, you 'feel' the mint more than you taste it. You can feel the cooling sensation and tingling on your skin and tongue, which feels fantastic. Because of this, we use it more for sensory play than a tasty treat.

Performance

Most water-based lubes need to be reapplied often, as they get tacky with time.

Most flavored lubes need to be reapplied a little more often than the average water-based lube.

This product, if used as a true-blue lube, needs as much help as it can get. If you use two pumps to lube a penis for masturbation or a hand-job, expect to reapply or re-moisten every 30-45 seconds. This is perfect when used for a combination of manual-and-oral sex, since the saliva will keep things slick.

As mentioned before this (as well as most flavored lubes) tends to feel sticky when you're done, so be sure to wash up. It's NOT a fun feeling.
