“Meet your new best friend.” System JO H2O is one of the best water-based lubes on the market. It carries a silky smooth feel and does not become sticky or dry too quickly after application. The feel is similar to a silicone lube, and it is very easy to clean. Just wash off with some water, or an antibacterial wipe (for those non-waterproof toys). As for stains, since I started using this product, I have not noticed any. There is no odor, and as for taste I didn’t notice any (though the lube is not designed for oral sessions and probably should not be used as such).
Its thick texture allows the lube to last a long time. I found that there was little need for reapplication. And as most others say, a little bit goes a long way. I dabbed a little more than a few drops on the tips of my fingers and was fine during use. JO H2O also went well with all of the toys that I own. It did not injure their functions or anything, and made them easier on insertion, as opposed to some other lubes I have tried.
The only negative I see about this product is the top dispenser. It does sort of make it hard in getting the lube out, only allowing a drop or two out without having to squeeze the bottle (which is a bit tough to squeeze), though you are able to get as much as you need if you just take off the top.
It comes in three sizes: 2.5fl oz. 4.5fl. oz. and 8fl. oz. I ordered the smallest as it is my first time using this lube, and this clear little bottle has been my “best friend” ever since. Though don’t hesitate in buying the bigger bottle, it will definitely be worth it. All in all I recommend this lube for anyone, beginners included.

It has been two months since I last reviewed this product. I've repeatedly used the System JO H2O Anal lube over that time period and I still find that it is one of the best anal lubricants on the market. I never get tired of the silky feel to the lubricant and the easy clean up that the lube has. Just a quick wash with water and you're finished.
It is still easy to use with toys, and it does not stain. Even the top dispenser that I had trouble with months ago has loosened up by now.
All in all, the System JO H2O Anal lube is a best buy when it comes to buying lubricants.

Suggestions for a Toy-friendly, Body-safe Lube?

I have a bottle of System JO H2O Anal and after my most recent vacation a part of the inside of the cap seems to be just broken enough for it to leak. I'm trying to decide if I just want to replace it or repackage it into a new bottle. I thought I'd take the opportunity to look at new lubes. I'm looking for something for anal and something for other types of play, hopefully one with as few nasty chemicals as possible that isn't going to damage most toys (silicone and composites, elastomer, and yes, jelly to be specific). What are your favorites for each different kind of play? Or your main stay? I've used a lot of the System JO formulas before and I'm wondering how people who have tried several others like them or if there is something that shows them up for whatever reason.

I use Maximus for everything. Works so well and it avoids having to make a lube decision in the heat of play.
