First some context, while I have used this product with an anal vibrator and on a few occasions to masturbate, most of my experience with it is with an anal plug. I have yet to try this lube for anal sex or with a dildo. Not that I wouldn't love to, but I just haven’t had the opportunity.

The difference between System JO H2O and the drug store brands is immediately evident once you feel the System JO H2O on your skin. The System JO H2O is much thinner and lighter; it spreads around easier and is more slippery. Just a few drops of the System JO H2O will adequately lubricate my butt and my plug. The System JO H2O is very similar to silicone based lubricant in texture and feel, but it is water based so it is safe for use with silicone toys.

System JO H2O has the following ingredients: propyl paraben, methyl paraben, sodium carboxy, methyl cellulose and glycerine. While I know little about the first four ingredients other than that they are commonly used in pharmaceutical products, I am familiar with glycerine as a lubricant/laxative.
