Thinner, But Worked Great!

Personally, I was definitely more than satisfied with System JO H20 anal lube, although I was a bit surprised at both its relative thinness and its ability to perform its function despite that thinness.
I was definitely expecting this to be a thicker lube, based on its function as an anal lube, but it worked very well, both for its intended use (anal play) but also for genital stimulation (I used it with the masturbator I purchased in the same order, as well as a Prostate massager. Both toys behaved exceptionally well with the lube in question.) The texture isn't extremely thin or oily or anything like that---but normally with anal lube, thicker substances are a bit more common. Despite my concern, I was very pleased by the thinness of the lube. It has a great slickness to it that helps in both anal penetration and for genital stimulation, and doesn't feel so heavy as to cause discomfort or create any sense of awkwardness during use. It works great for its function, and for regular lubricant functions (like genital stimulation, massage, etc.) It cleans off great with soap and water, leaving no residue or the like, and in fact might have done a bit of moisturizing.
It's clear and water-based, so you can use it with condoms with no concern about them breaking, and it works great with any toys. I have sensitive skin, and had no reactions or problems with it, it's L-Arginine free and petrochemical free, as well as containing no oils, waxes, or silicone---so there isn't a whole lot chemically to cause trouble that way. Plus, it comes doctor recommended.
Overall, I had no real negative experience with the lube, and I'll definitely be using it in the future, both as anal lube and for my toys.

Suggestions for a Toy-friendly, Body-safe Lube?

I have a bottle of System JO H2O Anal and after my most recent vacation a part of the inside of the cap seems to be just broken enough for it to leak. I'm trying to decide if I just want to replace it or repackage it into a new bottle. I thought I'd take the opportunity to look at new lubes. I'm looking for something for anal and something for other types of play, hopefully one with as few nasty chemicals as possible that isn't going to damage most toys (silicone and composites, elastomer, and yes, jelly to be specific). What are your favorites for each different kind of play? Or your main stay? I've used a lot of the System JO formulas before and I'm wondering how people who have tried several others like them or if there is something that shows them up for whatever reason.

I use Maximus for everything. Works so well and it avoids having to make a lube decision in the heat of play.
