The Lace over satin bra and garter set by Coquette is a three piece set including a shelf bra, garter belt, and crotchless g-string. It is absolutely astonishing, and I dare to call it THE lingerie set. With its range of adjustability, comfort, and details, it is sure to be the perfect fit for a variety of people and definitely be the wow factor to any sexcapade.

Although all the pieces match, they have different details worth nothing, especially when it comes to fit and construction.

SHELF BRA

Unlike typical lingerie sets, this bra is designed to expose the breasts. It is built like a normal bra with a hook and eye closure in the back with three pairs of hooks to choose from, and has adjustable straps. The bottom of the bra is slightly ruffled, which is a very cute touch. The cups themselves are padded, but do not come up fully. Instead, they only support the lower part of the breasts but they don't offer any substantial amount of lift—just average. Now, the cups are a satin red wine color, with beautifully black patterned lace over the top. In the center are two plastic gems that shine wonderfully, but they are obviously low quality when inspected closely. The bra fits comfortably without irritation, though small breasted people may be deterred from this product, as even a size small with B cup breasts does not give much lift and fullness. Actually, my nipples were just slightly above the cups, so do not expect the extreme pop effect that the model has. Larger breasted people may have better results.

GARTER BELT

The garter belt is the most adjustable piece, fragile, and intricate piece. Being mostly black lace and reddish ribbon, it can be damaged easily so be careful to not be too rough with it. Each strap is very adjustable and can accommodate a wide variety of body types. Unhooked and laid out flat, it is one long strip measuring 26" long not counting the adjustable strap, which is 3 1/2" at its smallest and 6 1/2" long at its longest. Plus, the strap is stretchy. The clasps that attach to stockings (not included) are typical, black metal kind of loop that a black rubber nub slides into, but on either side is a black strip of ribbon that conceals them for a more pleasing look. I was very satisfied with that small detail. Like the main belt strap, the stocking straps measure 3 1/2" at the smallest and 6 1/2" at the largest.

CROTCHLESS PANTY

The crotchless g-string is a piece of fabric with the same red wine satin under the patterned black lace. The remainder of it is stretchy and black. Not stretched, it measures 12" across, and 16" stretched but not taut. But unlike the other two pieces, its construction is peculiar to me. While I experience no irritation, it's been sewn together in odd places. Most notably, the elastic bands have been sewn together kind of in the middle of the piece, instead of being solid bands. Also, unlike other crotchless garments that I've encountered, the ass isn't particularly left open. Actually, where the garment is sewn together rests approximately by my anus. Overall, it's not as open as other crotchless panties, but the straps can easily be moved aside for anal penetration, though that kind of defeats the purpose.

Overall, this lingerie set is mostly made of lace covered satin but some parts are also elastic, such as the adjustable straps. The tag on the bra says 100% polyester and to hand wash only. While the panty and bra might be able to withstand a gentle cycle in the washing machine, I would bet that the fragile garter belt wouldn't survive. Your best bet is simply to hand wash the entire set to prevent any possible damage, as each piece does have delicate details.

Even with my concerns over the construction of the panties, I am extremely satisfied with the fit and comfort of this lingerie set and my partner's response to it has definitely proved it to be worth its cost. It's our favorite piece that will be seeing more use than our others. I can't imagine it being a flop for anyone, so long as it is cared for properly. Even with smaller breasts, I feel truly seductive and on top of the world.
