Clitoral hummer - vibrating clit cup discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by PUNIFA

This vibrator has 10 speeds ranging from very gentle to REALLY intense (at least for me!). It seems most suited for clitoral stimulation and does pretty well on the nipples too. I haven't tried inserting it because I'm a complete newbie with this sort of thing, but it's definitely done nicely for me. Because of its range in speeds it seems like a good vibrator for beginners, because as I mentioned it can start out really slow.

The material is really nice and smooth, and the feel of it is somewhat soft. I feel like the softness of it provides some light stimulation, but it's not very textured. It's not too rigid - that's not to say that it's bendable, but it's not so unforgiving that it's not enjoyable. The material cleans off really well - just needs a rinsing with some warm water and soap. I found after washing that it took on a light scent of the soap I used, but that didn't take away from anything.

I love the scooped head and the little nub on the back! The shape of the head allows you to direct the amount of stimulation and the nib is nice for teasing.

The hummer isn't incredibly discreet - its shape is very obviously phallic, and it comes in a clear casing. However it's not too big - about water bottle sized - so it would probably be very easy to find a small box or bag to keep it in, and then discreetness really isn't much of an issue. Since this vibrator is geared towards clitoral stimulation its length doesn't seem to be a huge factor in its use.

The vibrations were most powerful in the tip of the toy, through the scoop and the nib on the back. The control is a simple single button located on the end of the hummer that you press to cycle through the speeds. It also has a built in memory chip that leaves it on the last setting used, which I like a lot!

The toy isn't terribly loud - probably not safe to use with someone right in the room, but definitely quiet enough to use behind a closed door. It's also good for use in the shower - the sound of the water drowns it out and it's waterproof, just make sure the end is screwed on tight!

onto the speeds - as mentioned, there are 10 speeds on this toy. The first three are just constant vibrations, and the other 7 are different patterns of pulsing and humming. I found the pulsing/humming ones great for nipple play, but definitely preferred the middle-level vibration for clitoral stimulation, finding the first level a bit too weak and the third pretty overpowering.

This toy is really easy to clean up! A rinse with warm water+soap does the trick. For now I'm keeping it in the casing it came with, but hope to find a small drawstring bag to put it in so I don't have to hide it from view (the casing is clear plastic). I've used this with lube and it gets a nice even coat over it without becoming sticky.

The packaging is just a simple plastic casing. I've been using it to store the hummer temporarily, just until I find something better.

This was definitely more than I hoped for from my first vibrator! It gets the job done really well and it seems like something I'll be using for a while, even when I'm no longer a novice.
