Gee Whiz, I was expecting more from this!
Overall I was very displeased with the Gee Whiz, for being designed for the king of vibrators it had a lot to live up to & failed miserably in my books which was pretty sad since I thought after my experience with another Vixen product this would be better. Evidently not. Maybe it works wonders with vaginal stimulation, unfortunately I don't have that orifice. The Gee Whiz by Vixen Creations is a attachment for the Hitachi magic wand massager that's designed to cover the original head (this is not a new head, just a cover/attachment!) to add some flair to a classic, unfortunately for me it did not turn out as good as I was hoping for...
The Gee Whiz is the big brother to a similar attachment called the Gee Whizzard which is a bit longer and only an inch in diameter less while the Gee Whiz is 1 3/8" in diameter. It comes in a clear plastic tube with a 'lid' on each end sort of like a test tube, like many other Vixen Creation toys do.
I suppose I was setting myself up for disappointment due to high expectations seeing as the Hitachi was so freaking fantastic I expected the Gee Whiz to make it even better, when it arrived I opened the tube and checked out the interesting blue swirling of the attachment. Between the blue swirls are clear see-through parts of the Gee Whiz which is kinda neat to see as it reminds me of glass in that respect.
I got out my Hitachi and plugged it, stretched the 'cup' the Gee Whiz has and wiggled it onto the Hitachi's head until I couldn't move it down further although the Gee Whiz doesn't seem to cover the entire head down to the rim.
I warmed up a bit of other toys and when I was ready slid the Gee Whiz in, I tried thrusting in and out but it didn't produce much effect. After trying that I thought maybe focusing its vibrations on one point (stationary) would help so I let it rest against my rear entryway, 1 minute went by...then 2 minutes...4 minutes and at 5 minutes I gave up.
I mean the Gee Whiz felt nice but it seriously dulled the Hitachi's power due to how thick the material was, as well as making the Hitachi even noisier through that time because of the head not being entirely covered!
Because the Gee Whiz is made of silicone it can be cleaned via soap and water or by boiling for 3 minutes, at least its easy to take care of I suppose. The toy does have a faint smell but thats only if your nose is right up against it, I can't really put my finger on what it smells like but it really doesn't matter.
I suggest keeping the Gee Whiz in the container it comes in or a ziploc baggie as it attracts hair and dust like no tomorrow.
For 50 dollars I was really expecting a lot more from this toy and was really disappointed overall, this is the second time a Vixen Creations product has been a major letdown so I really don't think I'll be investing in another any time soon.

I've used this many times since the initial review and while I don't dislike it as much as I originally did it isn't anything special in my opinion. I much rather would prefer the hitachi by itself or more easy to thrust toys (the hitachi makes thrusting a bit tricky due to its weight). I guess I just require a bit more stimulation than other people, who knows! Either way its still far from my favorite but has found a home in my toy box...for now.

I disagree that the vibrations don't carry. They carry very well. Mr enjoyed this toy immensely and was able to achieve a very intense P-spot orgasm with it. Frankly, I can't even use it because of how intense the vibrations carried. I had hoped that they would be muted a bit more, but they weren't.
I'm also confused because you said that the Gee Whizzard is an inch in diameter less than the Gee Whiz, but in your video you said that it is an inch. So is it 3/8 diameter or 1 inch? I also don't think that the head not being covered is what makes it noisier, I think that what makes it noisier is that the vibrations are carrying through the entire attachment.
I would have liked to have seen more objectivity in your review as well.

Did you try this more than once before submitting your review? Sometimes I find that something I didn't like on the first day, I'll really like a lot the next. For disappointing toys I've had, like the High Intensity Bullet, I tested them once or twice a week for a whole month before I decided I really didn't like it.
Anyway, it seems kind of hasty to say that you "don't recommend this to anyone" because it didn't work for you. It might be more helpful if you explained clearly why it didn't work for you, and what kind of person would prefer it more.
Er, not to sound preachy. Me testing that bullet for a whole month was probably overkill (but I'm a girl so monthly fluctuations can change my sensitivities.) Still, trying something at least twice before writing the review is probably a good idea.

Is it hard to thrust because the material is so squishy?

No, it isn't squishy, its surprisingly firm like many silicone toys are, its flexible but due to how it has to sit on the hitachi's head and that you have to hold the full weight of the hitachi upside-down and thrust it requires more effort than other insertables... I think using it vaginally would be easier due to the fact you don't have to tilt on your back to access the orifice like you do when you play anally
