Good at first then...
For being so cheap it has some good vibrations that are not to loud. Now I might have a different opinion about what is loud and not. But I have louder toys in any case. The problem I had was that it broke when I only had it a couple of months. Good for beginners, just be careful with it the lid is fragile.Published: October 19, 2010

OK. So I have to say I bought this as one of my first toys a while ago and I loved it. I bought it while on a three week vacation and I am a very private, modest person so I was afraid it would be heard, but it wasn't. I turned it on in the shower and I could barley hear it over the water. The first time I used it I thought I would never find another toy I liked better. But then again it was one of my first.
About two or three months after I bought it I was changing the batteries and I was putting on the lid and It just cracked in two. I tried to see if I could fix it but nothing would work. So the whole thing did not work no vibrations because the lid was what made the toy turn on. It was devastating lol.. But it was so cheap it didn't bother me to bad. I just went online and bought a different toy. :)
I love the smooth texture on the outside. It made it easy to clean, it did not attract dust or anything like that. For a beginner this would be good because it is not HUGE and it is pretty quiet for the shy ones out there. In fact if your a beginner this would be a perfect first toy to get (thats my opinion at least). But besides it breaking I would recommend this to a friend starting out, but if you are a long time user look elsewhere! Another toy that would be good for a beginner that is cheap would be the 'ivibe pocket rocket'. Two different kind of toys but the ivibe is my favorite toy I have had and it is around 30.00 on here!

Getting rid of stains on my Velvet Touch vibe?

LinLinHi, I accidentally used my Velvet touch vibrator during my period (like I started going and I didn't notice that I was already spotting). Since then it has some mild yellowing (I got it in lavander) and I don't know how to get rid of the stains! It does not seem to have an odor or anything, but does anyone have any tips on how I can get rid of the stains? I love this toy and its my first and only one I own, but I'm so annoyed with the staining!
Any help would be appreciated! -
You could try cleaning it with a bleach solution, but honestly it might just be stained. I'd say that if it doesn't smell and you've cleaned it real well, that might just be it. It won't affect the usability at all though, which is good. :)

Or that the machine itself is faulty? I've had this toy for over four years, only had to change the battery once, and it has remained clean, odorless, retained its color, vibrations are as strong as when I first purchased/used it, and it never malfunctioned on it. Although it's a very inexpensive toy, it has outlasted all others in pleasure and in worth! Go for it!

I had mine for at least a year before it stopped working. When it stopped working, there was rust under the twisting part of the cap, so I likely caused it to stop working by not being careful when washing it. This was a FABULOUS toy when I had it, and I would buy another if I needed another basic vibe. For $13, you can't really go wrong. Don't abuse it (drop it, get the cap or insides wet) and it should last quite a while.
