Great for Beginners and Pros
This product is great because of the different vibration speeds that can be adjusted for beginners or non beginners. Although it is slightly noisy, it is not a very loud sound. I would recommend it for anyone.Published: November 6, 2011

The Velvet Touch Vibrator is a very good vibrator, and has been my favorite so far. It is a good price and has multiple speeds from low to slightly intense. The speeds are controlled by a dial base on the bottom of the vibrator. This way the speeds can be adjusted to be at any rate in the vibration rate range. The dial can be a little awkward to use during solo use, but it is not very difficult to turn it so it does not cause much of a problem.
Mine lasted me for about 5 months which is a good amount of time for the price the vibrator cost. It makes some noise but is not very loud. It cannot be heard through a closed door, though it might be heard through a blanket.
The vibrator works very well for clitoral stimulation. It can also be used for vaginal penetration. It does not stimulate the g-spot well because it is straight and not curved at all. I used the toy on its own and was able to get off with no problem.
It's water proof so it's perfect for showers and bathtubs, and this makes it very easy to clean with just warm soap and water. The texture is velvety and smooth so really great for use, although for penetration it is best to use a lubricant to avoid any irritation or discomfort. Because of the velvety texture it does not get cold as easily as smooth, plastic materials can. It's made with PU coated plastic.
The Velvet Touch Vibrator only takes 2 AA batteries but it still has a good amount of power. The vibrations may not be intense enough for those who like very strong vibrations, but they are great for beginners or people who are want a range from soft vibrations to slightly intense vibrations.
The Velvet Touch Vibrator does not eat through the batteries which is a huge plus. Overall, I only had to change the batteries about two or three times while I had it.

Getting rid of stains on my Velvet Touch vibe?

LinLinHi, I accidentally used my Velvet touch vibrator during my period (like I started going and I didn't notice that I was already spotting). Since then it has some mild yellowing (I got it in lavander) and I don't know how to get rid of the stains! It does not seem to have an odor or anything, but does anyone have any tips on how I can get rid of the stains? I love this toy and its my first and only one I own, but I'm so annoyed with the staining!
Any help would be appreciated! -
You could try cleaning it with a bleach solution, but honestly it might just be stained. I'd say that if it doesn't smell and you've cleaned it real well, that might just be it. It won't affect the usability at all though, which is good. :)

Or that the machine itself is faulty? I've had this toy for over four years, only had to change the battery once, and it has remained clean, odorless, retained its color, vibrations are as strong as when I first purchased/used it, and it never malfunctioned on it. Although it's a very inexpensive toy, it has outlasted all others in pleasure and in worth! Go for it!

I had mine for at least a year before it stopped working. When it stopped working, there was rust under the twisting part of the cap, so I likely caused it to stop working by not being careful when washing it. This was a FABULOUS toy when I had it, and I would buy another if I needed another basic vibe. For $13, you can't really go wrong. Don't abuse it (drop it, get the cap or insides wet) and it should last quite a while.
