As you hear from just about everybody this traditional looking massager rocks! It's very mundane looking and I think you have to be an enthusiast or a naughty girl like me to know that this is one of the most powerful clit vibrators ever! There are many attachments that can be purchased to accompany this baby to fit your needs. This feature alone makes the Hitachi Magic Wand an intensely orgasmic, satisfying wonder. I do have to say however that attachments are not a necessity to make this an O-mazing clit vibe, it stands on it's own rite out of the box! The vibrations are so strong you can get off through your clothes. How's about that? if you're in a hurry you dont even have to undress, just put the ball to your clit and go... literally.
I was excited to recieve this because I had ordered two attachments to go along with the wand, The whizzard and the Miracle massager. I was on a quest for the all elusive squirting ability and almost everywhere I looked this toy had top billing for that application. With the Miracle massager accessory this toy also becomes a duel stimulator, what's better? All my rabbit's died. I needed this. With my first attempt consisting of several orgasms I was able to squirt. Yippee! This is a large item all on it's own, around a foot long and 2 1/2 inches for the ball head. It has two speeds Low (5000 rpm) and High(6000 rpm) Yhea baby!!! The slow speed seems to provide a deeper vibration and high is an intense super zing.
I think this is one of the best investment vibrators around, well worth the $. Relatively cheap for all the enjoyment this baby provides. It feels very well made and sturdy. The attachments should you obtain any do need a bit of lube to get onto the big bulbous head. I use Astroglide a water based lube because I dont know exactly what the head itself is made of. I suspect it's rubber and porous. I wipe it down with a wet cloth after each use. Consider a condom if you're going to be really messy. I think the sensitive may have difficulty with this product because it's ultra powerful, even numbing. This massager is not waterproof, quiet, portable, discreet, small or battery operated but I dont care. In my opinion is the best bang for anybodies vibrator buck period!

As in my review I stated that I use the Miracle massager accessory on my Hitachi magic wand, It does require the slightest bit of lube to get on. It works just fine, it just needs a little help in the beginning. I was mistaken when I purchased this attachment thinking the two were made to be compatible. As you can see in the comment section, It's been brought to my attention that these two products weren't intended for use together. I'm so grateful to be part of this community, I'm constantly learning new things. What Is recommended is the G Pod, made of body friendly silicone and intended for use with the Hitachi. The G Pod being designed for this product is the obvious choice. Whatever you may choose, I wish you pleasure. Minxy

I have had both, and they are really both very good toys. The main difference really is that the Acuvibe is rechargeable and can be used cordless, while the Hitachi must plug in to work. Personally, I think that the Hitachi is slightly stronger, and it has definitely outlasted my Acuvibes - I have had two, and they both broke down after about six months or so.

Recently I've sold my Hitachi to a friend, and I've been on the market for a new clit vibe. I bought a LAYAspot by FunFactory, thinking it would be a nice, powerful bullet to use when I'm with my partner, and I realized that it barely even packs a punch!

The head of the Hitachi is vinyl- washing with mild soap and water is fine. Vinyl is slightly porous, though, so keep in mind that it cannot be fully sterilized if you're using it with partners!
Hi Minxy - great review! The miracle massager accessory, however, isn't intended for the hitachi...it really doesn't fit and you must have had a hell of a time getting that on there!
The MM accessory is made by california exotic, who also makes the miracle massager - I believe they purposely made the attachment slightly smaller so it wasn't cross-compatible with the hitachi, which is a rival product.
If you want a body-friendly material head, might I suggest the Off with their head ([../../vibrators/vibrator-kits-sleeves/silicone-hitachi-cup|link]) , a head that swaps out with the standard white one, and as a better alternative to the MM attachment, a fantastic silicone one called the g-pod ([../../vibrators/vibrator-kits-sleeves/g-pod-silicone-hitachi-cap|link])
